Got Assassin's Creed: Revelations & WWE '12 for christmas. Holding off on AC:R cause I read there's a couple of glitched achievements. Just played a couple of matches of Punk vs Danielson in WWE '12... I'm really digging this game so far. I haven't learned all of the intricacies yet, though. If anyone else has it on 360, hit me up & let's rassle!

I see what you guys were talking about with Road to WrestleMania... this shit is painful. I'm enjoying the other modes though. Downloaded a perfect AJ Styles CAW & took him thru Universe. And I've already sunk hours into editing move-sets.

And I've already sunk hours into editing move-sets. I got WWE 12 for Christmas as well, and I agree that RTWM is terrible. In fact, all of the WWE's main story modes have always sucked. Why even bother to have them in the first place? Everything else though, has been good.

Amy I'm really disappointed. I was extremely excited for this, but...eh. It's worth $5, but $10? Hm. I should've saved for The Heist instead. I mean, it's not BAD, but it just...didn't meet my expectations. Probably a bad thing to do with video games :/ Still. At least it was only $10.

I've read a ton of reviews on Amy, and they all said they were disappointed with as well Atom. I'm kind of glad I didn't buy it, although I did waste my $10 on something else:
NFL Blitz (PSN)
If only the game was faster. Sure, the late hits were cool and everything but that was a small part of the bigger picture, and the biggest problem with Blitz is that it's really slow. Honestly, it's like Madden Arcade but a little bit tighter on the controls, but everything else is the same (if I can just add this about Madden Arcade: it sucked.)
I'm hopeful that it's a big turnaround like that of NBA Jam to NBA Jam: On Fire Edition because OFE is one of my favorite arcade games this console generation.
Onto other games I played:
WWE 12 (PS3)
I was very, very close to trading this in but once I stopped trying to make my own universe work and just play and have fun, the game really opened up for me. The customization is unbelievable and the controls are pretty good though they do take some getting used too. Some glitches are still there, but nothing too bad. Thumbs up.
Mass Effect 2 (PS3)
I bought this on Christmas Day, and just kind of forgot about it. Now that I have prioritize my time alot better, I've had time to get into the game and I really enjoy it. The story doesn't grip me too much, it's just there for me but the gameplay and everything else is top notch and is the sole reason I'm playing it. Is that bad that I'm just playing the game just for the gameplay and not the story? Oh well, it's fun and that's all that matters to me.
I just got Deus Ex: Human Revolution through Gamefly, so I'm looking forward to it.

So, I stayed at my friend's all week since I was off work, so I checked out a few things.
Borderlands He got the GOTY edition, so we played that non-stop for most of the time I was there. Beat the main story in a couple of days (But total time is probably a little over 20 hours). We also beat one of the DLCs, and are in the middle of another. I remember playing this when I had my PS3, and it was fun for a few hours on single-player, but it's MUCH more fun on Co-Op.
Star Wars: The Old Republic See? THIS is my type of MMO. I enjoyed their campaign, as the story of each class (And sometimes, race) is different. Heard the PvP isn't too great though, but I also heard they're working on that. Once I pick up my first few paychecks and save some money, I'm definitely getting this and paying that subscription.
I also watched my friend play Battlefield 3 and Final Fantasy XIII-2. As someone who really really really didn't like FFXIII, XIII-2 looked really fucking good. And as someone who isn't a big fan of FPS games, BF3 looked awesome as well.
OH. And I played on my DCUO character and got him to level 30. -fist pump-

Battlefield looks great as well, have it on my queue. Where are you playing DCUO? PS3? PC? I've been wanting to play it, but don't want to go it loner status. I know I'll have a better handle on it, but it's always better having your buddies by your side.

They're remastering FFX in HD for PS3. That's my favorite Final Fantasy game (Other than the Tactics games), so I highly recommend that when they're done with it. I just felt XIII was mainly cutscenes, and felt more like a movie than anything. I just wasn't too into it. And I'm playing it on PS3. It was too laggy on my current laptop, unfortunately (And the PS3 & PC servers are different, which is a bit disappointing). You start at a free membership, but I highly recommend spending enough money ($5, I believe) to get the Premium status. It's definitely worth it, as are either of the DLC packs (Green Lantern or The Flash, $10 each). You get new powers (Green Lantern has the Light power, while you get the Electric power in The Flash's).

I just bought a 3DS and my first game was naturally Super Mario 3D Land. Nintendo has finally granted my wish in making a full fledged Mario game on a handheld. There are very few powerups in the game (Mushroom, Flower, Tanooki, & Boomerang) it's enough for you to go through the game with relative ease. I beat the game in about 3 days, but I haven't obtained all of the star medals so that could take a couple of hours to do and I did play the game in 3 hour sessions, if you are on the fence with the 3DS I really recommend you buy it and this game.

Steam had a lovely 66% off sale for everything The Sims 3 related. So I got the game, as well as some DLC, and I've been playing that today.

WWE 13, it's been really fun so far. I usually do play these games, even though they're not best like Shut Your Mouth and Here Comes The Pain.

I haven't posted in this thread in a LONG while, so I would like to change that.
Fuse (Demo)
I had my doubts with Fuse, mainly because Insomniac hasn't had the best track record when it comes to games outside of the Ratchet & Clank Universe. I was not a fan of Resistance so seeing another shooter game coming from them didn't exactly set my would afire. But, once I finished the demo I am surprised to say that...I kinda liked it. Sure, it's another third person cover based shooter but I guess I'm in the mood for a mindless shooter just to have a good time. I'm not expecting this to be a big seller or get the most favorable reviews, but I think it will be a fine game to play with a buddy or two or three. Check it out on XBL or PSN if you are interested.
Resident Evil Revelations (Demo)
I didn't get a chance to play Revelations on the 3DS, despite hearing rave reviews for it. So, when I heard it was coming to consoles and a demo was coming out, I knew I had to see what was up. Well. It's a Resident Evil game alright. They did a pretty good job up scaling the graphics and making it as pretty as they could so my hats off to Capcom for that. Controls are like those found in RE4 & RE5 so no big surprise there. All in all, if you are a fan of Resident Evil and haven't played Revelations, now would be a great time to do so.

I just finished Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
What a delightful expansion that was. Just kept smiling throughout the campaign. If you are just looking to have a good time, and just bask in the nostalgia of 80s action movies, do yourself a favor and buy it.
