Good for Danielson. He probably doesn't need it but it shows some of his superiors that he wants to try his hardest to be perfect when in debuts in WWE

I really feel like Danielson is going to have a long run in the WWE. Sure he has the stigma of being an "indy product" do deal with at first, but I feel like he's talented enough to overcome that.
Also, I'll be PUMPED when Danielson FCW footage surfaces.

Didn't get to see much of SD this week but I did see the Punk promo and the main event. I was surprised that I didn't really like either so I didn't bother watching the rest of the show. I hated how the main event ended, really uneeded for that to happen.

The 6-man tag was good, & so was the main event (up until the shennigans at the end). I also liked that they've finally progressed the "Piggie James" angle beyond Mickie crying like a little bitch because Lay-Cool are calling her names.
Kane/Ziggler was decent.
And even though I didn't like it, I thought everyone involved did a good job during the straight edge conversion segment. I was hoping Punk & Festus were gonna maul a "fan" with that chair.
Overall, a very solid SmackDown.
PS: cooldog, you get +1 karma for having Terry the rollerskating prostitute as your avatar! ;D

Just read up on SD! If the Main Event was Batista vs Mysterio, then yeah, that ending sucks. If anything, it ruins Taker's character.

The fact that Jericho is on Raw right now makes me want to turn the channel immediately. How many times are we going to do this "Jericho leaves Raw" stipulation, then completely ignore it the next week?

As boring as Raw has been to this point, that Miz/MVP segment was fucking tremendous.

The only problem I had with the segment is that they do the saaaaame story for every MVP program. WE GET IT! HE'S BLACK! HE WENT TO JAIL! HE WEAR EXPENSIVE STUFF! WE KNOWWW! Otherwise, great segment!

I would agree with the MVP complaint, but i'd also say that it's his best work since the Matt Hardy feud. He's been treading water for a year or more now, and it's good to see him finally show some intensity with someone who can more than hang with him on the mic.

I agree...I'm just tired of WWE going to the same 'ole well one to many times. That wasn't meant to be a slam to the performers, because they took shaky material and made it work very well.

I agree with both of you, great mic work from Miz & MVP (even though the "every black guy in WWE has been in jail" schtick is tired & offensive... & the segment lost a lot of steam when they started talking about flinging poo).
Man, they absolutely killed Kofi's push & momentum. Last week he loses cleanly, this week the crowd didn't give two shits about him & he loses cleanly again. I don't get it. Why even bother elevating guys like Kofi, MVP, & Swagger if you're just gonna squash their push before it even gets started?
And what was up with Orton after he hit that RKO? He seemed legit mad at Kofi... just started calling him "stupid, stupid, fuckin' stupid." It didn't look like Kofi botched anything. Did anybody else catch this?

Did anybody else catch this? He seems frustrated before the RKO, too, which could be a result of the mistimed Dibiase run in (Kofi gets up for the punches, gets back down, waits a few seconds, gets back up, gets shoved off). The bump itself seemed pretty dangerous - Kofi lands pretty violently onto Orton's collarbone headfirst. Yeah, that's the point of an RKO, but most people will land with their chest/knees simultaneously. Orton also mouthed "fucking (something)" as he's getting his hand raised.

Yeah, the run-in was late, but it seemed like Orton was aiming his frustration squarely at Kofi. And I don't know why he'd have a problem with the way Kofi took the RKO... is that not the way he's been taking it throughout the feud?

You're right - he probably has... but I can't fathom what else would make Orton THAT mad. His last freakout was when Kennedy almost injured him, so i'm assuming that Kofi somehow hurt him somewhere in the match. Who knows.
