www.f4wonline.com/indies/pwg-announces-first-ten-participants-years-battle-los-angeles-260211Any thoughts on this lineup so far? Some of the names are very surprising, but all of them are very intriguing. I'm super excited to see Puma King get a shot in PWG. If you don't follow lucha you've probably never seen him (or even heard of him), but he's a great all-around talent. A great base who can make any high flyer look amazing, and can hang with his own fast paced offense as well. And I didn't even know Jody Fleisch still wrestled. Haven't heard that name in at least ten years.

Second what AD said about the lineup so far. I actually had never heard of Puma King before(although I remember seeing a pic of him when looking at a list of luchadors on some list about the top lucha wrestlers in CMLL, back when I was trying to get into it), and went and sought out some of his matches, and his Mask Vs. Mask match with Rey Cometa was great. I didn't even know Jody wrestled anymore either, I just remembered him from old school CZW highlights, so that's pretty cool to see him.
I also want to note that based on the first half of wrestlers that have been confirmed(counting the recent inclusions of Darby Allin, who 1. Should have joined sooner imo, he fits perfectly, and 2. is 100% gonna pull an Ibushi and get PWG banned from the Globe by jumping from the balcony, and Matt Riddle), this could have even more BOLA debuts than last year, with 9 people already set to take their first step into the Battle of Los Angeles.

One more note, this is the BOLA debut for 14 Wrestlers, and the BOLA returns for Shingo and CIMA, who were last in BOLA 2007.

God BOLA can't start shipping fast enough. I lost the ability to be current with them for a while(as current as you can be with dvds that come out two months after the shows), but recently I've gotten the ability to follow them more actively again, and thank god my first way back is with what could be the best BOLA yet.

At one time, I think I was the biggest PWG fan on this board. Now the wait for these shows have become so ridiculous that I can’t even keep my interest up from seeing the results to months later when I don’t even remember what was featured on the show.
This is something that really needs rectified.
