Haven't cried that much in years. Literally sobbed like a family member died. Still, perfect retirement speech and such a wonderful attitude to go out on. Been following Dragon for many years. He will be sorely missed in the ring.

Man that was emotional, more than anything, he showed that anyone who has a dream or passion can achieve and fulfill that, blown away by his speech and cried like a little baby.

I cried like a bitch yesterday and now waking up and watching these videos on YouTube is making me teary again. It's such a hard pill to swallow to see someone as Beej mentioned you follow for so long have to leave. Especially at such a young age, and Bryan being someone who whole heartedly loved what he did. Words can't express how I feel right now. I only wish him well for the future and his well-being. #ThankYouDanielBryan.

Last night was difficult. I'm happy for him, it's not an easy decision, but if anyone can be so casual yet formal with something like retiring it's Dragon. It's weird cause' you just see him in the ring, watch him on TV, youtube, and stuff like that... Yet anyone can tell he's so genuine, and that's why it was such a heartfelt speech. You can tell he's sad, but he's also ready for what's next. Only in pro wrestling, do us, crazy weird fans, can "feel" this kind of bond with a somewhat fictional entity, whom we've never met, and probably never will... But it feels like we do, and feels like we've been there, supporting our "friend" during his trials. We felt sad when he got hurt, when he got shunned for the sake of others less deserving. We also felt happy when "he made it", and we lost our shit when he won "the big one". At least for me, Bryan will always be an inspiration, right up there with Eddie, as the guys who killed the standards and preconceptions, and were just too good for anybody to think something else.

this is still so surreal to me. If you think about how he came to the WWE not too long ago and how much he achieved throughout that short period of time despite the odds being stacked against him, it boggles my mind every single time. He damn sure opened a lot of doors for indie guys in WWE.
I'm just very glad that I got to witness all of it, so thanks Bryan.

Fuckin' amen, brother. Where were you last night when we were recording the Zone Radio podcast?!
