this was one hell of a weird Mania. It's like WWE read all the comments about being too predictable and turned the table on that real quick. That Cena pop was unreal and probably the biggest he's ever gotten. At this point he could easily be a part timer but I doubt he'd settle for it. I'm gonna have to watch this mess again before I judge it but damn.. it felt so out there. I believe the reason he got so big of a pop, and even myself was happy to see him back is because for years we have been complaining about Cena constantly getting over and then when he was gone they gave Reigns that exact treatment but Reigns is honestly nowhere near as good as Cena in-ring, or Character wise. I am not really a fan of Cena but I would rather see him bury everyone than Reigns.

A review of the part of Wrestlemania that I watched:
I liked the ladder match for what it was. Obviously Zayn and Owens were the stars, proving that they should've had a one-on-one match. And Sin Cara did some cool stuff, too. Never been much of a Ryder fan--and his win makes less-than-zero sense from a booking standpoint--but it's kind of hard to be too upset at seeing a guy who got himself over without any kind of a push, and then spent years getting the proverbial fist up the ass from the company, finally get his big moment.
Styles vs. Jericho was good, but really just another match for those two. This company really knows how to take a dream match and make it seem insignificant. Side note: I'm starting to think Jericho needs to alter his style a bit. Seems like he's kind of getting into the area that RVD was in during his last run where he can still do all his old spots, but he does it all just a bit too slowly and awkwardly. But maybe I'm the only one who thinks that.
The six man tag was a perfect example of what a mess this company is right now. I was under the impression that the tag titles were on the line, and that it would be a 4-on-3 match, and neither of those things ended up being true. Also, why is the League of Nations even still a thing? Match had some decent action but who cares? Moving on...
Ambrose vs Lesnar was my personal favorite match on the show. The wrong guy won (because of course he did) and the finish was far too sudden, but they told a solid story and delivered some quality action. Ambrose actually managed to make the normally boring Brock Lesnar suplex routine into something highly entertaining with his selling and overall performance level. And I was surprised how much of the crowd really wanted Dean to win, considering how poorly he's been booked over the past year.
The women (not the divas, they were on the pre-show) had the second best match on the show. It was obviously highly choreographed and a bit sloppy in certain spots, but they delivered a nice fast-paced, all-action type of match. Nice that they got to have this moment before Vince's vision of an Eva-Marie-led women's division comes to fruition, and we all go back to taking piss breaks during these matches.
And that's it, I stopped after that. I never had any intention of watching Taker/Shane. I'm not sad that I missed The Rock's stupid segment. I still haven't watched either of the first two Andre battle royals, so skipping the third one seemed appropriate. And I've sat through far too many heatless Triple H main events in my life to ever be tricked into doing it again.
So for me Wrestlemania 32 was four good matches, and one mess of a six man tag. Poorly booked results aside, I mostly enjoyed it.

Well, I'll share my breakdown since everyone else is. I'm the idiot who watched from minute one of the pre-show until the very last second before the show ends. Ryback/Kalisto was pointless. I thought we'd at least get some cool offense from Kalisto, but nothing. Diva's ten-woman tag was not good. I love Emma though. And Brie had legit one of the spots of the night with her beautiful roll through Yes Lock. The ladder match was fun. Like everyone else, I was only interested in Zayn and Owens. Ziggler has lost everything in my eyes. They finally made him such a geek that I've given up on him. Nice to see Ryder get his push four years too late. I completely agree with AD on Jericho. He's showing definite signs of his age, and it's getting a bit sad to see him trying to be old Y2J. The wrong man won. Felt very much like Sting losing last year. Let's face it, the six man tag was only here so that we get the HBK/Foley/Austin payoff. Pointless. Shawn being in his best shape since 1998 has given me unnecessary false hope for a return. Stop toying with my feelings! This screen was the best part of this whole segment: I was negative on Lesnar and Ambrose. Wrestlemania shouldn't have squash matches, and that's pretty much what this was. We were virtually promised a CZW-esque violence fest (not that I was all that excited to see that), but what was delivered was Ambrose looking like a geek for ten minutes. The women's triple threat was absolutely match of the night. That being said, the wrong woman won. Tonight was Sasha's night and everyone knew it. The wrong person winning took some of the luster off of the match. Side note, does this mean the "Diva's editor" moniker is now gone? Taker and Shane was a loose "match" set up around one spot. It felt really great for them to tease all these changes that the fans have longed for only to not deliver on that. Can we quit giving The Rock a half hour each show to effectively build nothing? He made the Wyatt's look like geeks. Nice to see Cena back after regaining his super Human stren Gt H. I watched in awe at the nearsightedness of Triple H and Roman to go out after six hours and have a sub-par attempt at a typical Trips match. Noticed the crowd mics were turned off for a lot of this match. Pointless. Steph looked hot though. I'm giving Raw a shot tonight, and if I'm not totally pleased and convinced of a positive future, I'm leaving WWE for awhile. Life is too short to constantly be mad over the men in panties that I want to win, not winning. Plus, there's so many wrestling companies out there doing it correctly (PWG, Lucha Underground, Rev Pro, Progress, ROH, etc) to waste this much grief on Vince McMahon.

I still don't get how WWE has been hyping about signing good independent wreslters and the future and they have Styles/Zayn/Owens losing... and how they are making the superstars like Bray Wyatt jobber to people like The Rock and John Cena. Having ryder win was the worst choice possible, the only way I would say it is not a bad choice is if they put Owens in the World Heavyweight title picture. Also Charlotte seems to be given win after win and Becky/Sasha seem to not be having a chance to have a title run. I seriously can not wait unil HHH starts running the main roster, as it needs a big change...

So I thought about it for a while and I have to say, a lot of this felt like it should have been on Fastlane. Jericho winning so that AJ could get his win back at Mania, New Day losing to the LON so that they could have a title match at Mania, Charlotte going over in a screwy finish so that Sasha could have her big moment at Mania or Zack Ryder winning a match in general.
It just didn't feel like Wrestlemania. Usually Wrestlemania is about ending feuds in a clean and closing way like the 3 main events did, but the rest was just odd to me.

WWE Mania card had Ambrose,Lesnar,Y2J,AJ Styles,Owens,Zayn,3 great divas(womens wrestlers)HHH and a Hell in a Cell and Ladder match and was still outdone buy the so called developmental territory (which had regular matches I might add) which says a lot about the current state of creative and booking on the main roster. Also Ryder winning the IC title reminds me so much of how Big Show won it off of Cody at Wrestlemania 28 only to kill Cody's momentum even after he won it a month later.

I've been here for the last 30 minutes, going through draft after draft and deleting it all because I'm trying to get my thoughts out on this show and not going into a tirade about what we all know is wrong. Nothing I say will change that or add anything new to the conversation.
In the end, this is all I have to say:
It's not fun watching WWE anymore.

Is it just me, or has this Raw felt like every other over-long Raw ever?

Is it just me, or has this Raw felt like every other over-long Raw ever? Until the last 30 minutes that's exactly what it was. The crowd might've helped liven up the show, but they were obviously muting the audio again tonight. (Things like the Usos entrance routine being mostly inaudible were dead giveaways.) And Miz winning any title is even more contemptuous of the audience than anything that happened the night before. But the Enzo and Cass debut and the main event were both great. Although I must say AJ becoming #1 contender makes his loss at Mania even more of a head scratcher. (Do they have any sort of long-term booking plan, or are they just making his shit up on a day-to-day basis?)

I understand why they made Jericho come out first and diss Reigns probably because he was probably the less favorite to win but they made it like he's gonna win and he lost so next what happens a triple threat at Payback?? Dunno everything doesn't make sense at all.
About mania I really enjoyed it, It was fun because it was stupid you know what I mean , nowadays you probably have to watch wrestling as a comedy.

Raw was one big cluster fuck until maybe the last 30 minutes. The only long term feud I saw coming out of that Raw was Sami vs Owens, AJ vs Reigns is gonna be one of those one off things and Enzo and Cass vs The Dudley's is as well. Also I want to know what in the hell happened to Dean Ambrose.
