I can't possibly see anything topping this. Wholy wow. Im sure I'm in the minority on this, but I watched it, and while great, i don't think it's the match of the month, let alone match of the year. I appreciate this style of wrestling (obviously, with my favorite being PWG), but I still prefer more psychology to my wrestling. While entertaining, this match left me feeling like something was missing.

Decided to give this a watch because I saw alot of controversy and people criticizing the match for basically what beej said. While there was a ton of people like Armando saying how great it was. So I watched it and it was Great and I was just in awe and impressed of what these guys were doing on my screen, and I always like me a good high flying match. Even if you didn't like the match there is no way your not the least bit impressed of what these guys can do. But im on the side with beej on how that I dont see it being in my Match of the Year list or being Match of the Month, I probably would enjoy it more if I was watching it live or didnt have this preset going into it. Still a great match though.

I did not expect this match to have this kind of impact. I just enjoyed the match. Psychology or not, this was fun to watch for me and that's all that matters when I watch wrestling. A match can be expertly calculated hold for hold, and you can like it for that, but if I'm not having fun watching it then I'm not having fun. Also, with all due respect, Vader of all people should know that what he considers pro wrestling is not what I'm sure many people before him considers pro wrestling to be and will be like that for every generation going forward thinking that wrestling should be one thing and this one thing only. While I enjoyed the 90s & 80s style of wrestling and appreciate it for everything it has brought us today, I don't want to see that style in today's landscape because it'd be rough to watch and boring. beej & HTW bring up good points. I was probably premature to declare it MOTY let alone MOTM, but I watched it live and it blew my socks away. Literally. I had my socks on halfway (for some reason) and I forgot the spot but they flew off. I got caught in the fury of responses from everyone watching it live and that's why I came on here and decreed it MOTY & MOTM. Whether or not it even makes it to the end when we still got six more months of wrestling, I had a blast watching it and want to see more.

It comes down to this - there is no right or wrong wrestling. There's an audience that is going to enjoy every type, and as long as that person enjoys that style, then it's good. Wrestling is art. And like all art, it's subjective. While I wouldn't rank it as the best of the year, I loved the Ospreay/Ricochet match. And it's no secret that I love Vader...a lot...probably too much for my own good. It's all good. It's all wrestling.

Can your response be posted whenever someone has an discussion/argument over this match? Because it would end it with both parties feeling they got their point across and we can move on to more important matters.
