Not to take away from the shock of Trent Acid's passing... That looks like Danielson's face, but Bryan has been booked already for a bunch of shows and is actually already wrestling by tomorrow night. So it has to be something more than that.

Not to take away from the shock of Trent Acid's passing... That looks like Danielson's face, but Bryan has been booked already for a bunch of shows and is actually already wrestling by tomorrow night. So it has to be something more than that. -- Pro Wrestling Guerrilla sent out the following announcement today (June 17th)… While the official announcement of our next event, celebrating seven years of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, is still a few days away, we figured it couldn't hurt to whet your appetite just a little bit. On Friday, July 30, 2010, it will probably be pretty warm out. On Friday, July 30, 2010, the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship and World Tag Team Championship titles will be defended. On Friday, July 30, 2010, there will be a Guerrilla Warfare match for the first time in over a year! On Friday, July 30, 2010, former World Champion Bryan Danielson will make his return to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Plus much, much more. And not just like "oh yeah, here's some other stuff." The seventh anniversary of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will be truly special. Details coming soon.

Hey Rev, I'm thinking of flying out for this one. I don't really know anybody in Cali, so I may need you to show me around a bit. Maybe get Andrew, Kel, & Billy to come to this one, too.
I know the Reseda venue & crowd aren't exactly the best, but I'd LOVE to go to this one.

I got you, Harry. Though those other guys may be better guides, only been to Reseda 4-5 times, and am only a little bit familiar with Los Angeles in general. If your looking to visit San Diego though (1-2 hours south), I can show you around.

You guys realize that the banner has changed. Because a fellow PWG vet is retiring. The card has been released, so i'll throw up the ol' press release.

-- Last night, AAA Super Mega Heavyweight Champion Dr. Wagner Jr. jumped promotions. Wagner, who is not only the champion but is also on the cover of the AAA video game, showed up at a CMLL event last night and officially announced that he was leaving AAA and returning to CMLL. Wagner's contract with AAA recently expired, and he was given the title and video game cover based on an agreement that he would re-sign with the company. This is HUGE news on Japan. It'd be like a current WWE champion jumping to TNA.
Medusa anyone?

I didn't think stuff like this happened anymore. Especially the way everybody was seemingly jumping promotions at will back in the late 90s.

Speaking of Lucha, this Friday at 10pm eastern Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors debuts on MTV2. I was channel surfing earlier & saw a preview for it with guys like La Parka, Jack Evans, Konnan, X-Pac, John Walters (doing a JBL/anti-immigration gimmick), Mark Jindrak (doing a Jersey Shore gimmick... I'm ashamed of myself for remembering him & his name), etc.
