So my Mac Mini isn't strong enough to support Final Cut, and I've been trying to edit videos on a windows laptop. I just tried Vegas, and it was a similar set up, but a little more complicated. I also tried another one (I think aimersoft) but it didn't really have an easy way to pull clips from a video and insert them into the project. Vegas worked alright, but I was wondering if there was something slightly more simple.

That's the other one I used. I didn't like how it wouldn't let me make clips in the editor.

I used vegas for years. It gets more simple as you go and its pretty easy to pick up on. I would recommend sticking with it.
