Danger 5 (Season One)
Danger 5 is a spoof of 60s era television shows and follows a group of secret agents as they try to kill Adolf Hitler...need I say more? The series plays everything straight (no matter how absurd) for the most part and is the true strength of the show. It's not a laugh out loud sort of show but more of a playing along with the premise and it's absurdity. I thought the first season was really clever.
Danger 5 (Season Two)
Where the first season played everything straight, this is a straight up spoof. This takes place in the 80s where the remaining members of Danger 5 are still chasing Hitler (long story). Lots of violence and gore and tons of jokes that don't quite land. The series tries something different here and it falls flat. It lasts a bit too long and it's a shame too because if they held back a bit this would have totally worked.
Overall, the series is uneven but if you are in the mood for something different then check it out. Mechs vs Hitler!

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
This was Tim and Eric before (kinda) Tim and Eric.
Garth Marenghi is a legendary horror author that is asked to make his own television series based off his books, which he does but only if he has complete creative control and has his best friend as his supporting actor. The series (6 episodes) is a mix of the actual show and the characters' talking heads of what went on behind the scenes.
This is comedic genius. A must watch, the entire series is on youtube.

I have missed the whole second half of The Flash this season hoping to catch up on Hulu though. Get ready to have your nips blasted off. I watched the series premiere of Preacher and really enjoyed it. I want to read the comics to get a better sense of the characters and such. Fresh Off the Boat had their season finale which was also good and funny. Don't know if people watch it or not, but if you are in the mood for a comedy show, I can't recommend this one enough. I am also going through Hap & Leonard which is fantastic. If you have the Sundance Channel, watch it. It's funny and bloody.

Cameron Crowe + Rainn Wilson + a trailer featuring The Mowgli's = a show destined to become my favorite thing ever.

I really hope everyone is watching OJ: Made in America. I was left speechless throughout most of the episodes so far. Also angry, sad, confused, angry, sad, angry and then sad. I'm not mistyping, those have been my range of emotions.
The entire documentary is streaming now on WatchESPN. I have to warn you that in the opening minute of episode 3 they show the crime scene photos. I had never seen them (nor did I ever go out of my way to see them) and yeah. I just felt the need to let you guys know that if you watch it.
I truly feel that it's essential for everyone to see this.

Finished OJ: Made in America tonight.
It's a masterpiece in documentary filmmaking. Nothing else I can say will do it justice. If you still haven't seen it, do so.
