You were right all along, Beej. Whoa, swerve. I don't doubt he's the most dangerous man - botching basic spots that were completely stupid to begin with. It takes some special talent to completely miss the large, square base of a folding chair, while spastically swinging a baseball bat. For once, I agree with Cornette.

Just watched a slow mo replay of what happened. Eddie pulled the seat of the chair down while he was trying to hold it in place, which caused the back of the chair to angle forward, the bat connects with the back of the chair causing the bat to ricochet & miss the seat entirely. Had the back of chair not leaned forward, bat would have landed squarely in the center of the seat. Unfortunate freak accident.
They show a bunch of slow mo replays in this video & Eddie admits to pulling the chair...

Never thought I'd be saying this, but last night's Slammiversary show is something anybody who likes good wrestling should check out. Opening 4-Way, LAX Streetfight, Callihan vs Pentagon, and Moose vs Aries all excellent matches.
