Peggle is an awesome game.
I'm playing FF13, Demon's Souls and that's it.
I really, REALLY enjoy Demon's Souls despite it being incredibly challanging. The problem is, FF13 has me pretty much locked up despite it's flaws.

Rented God of War III this morning. It's fuckin' awesome. Probably the best looking game ever. Only complaint so far is that the fixed camera screws with you during some of the platforming segments.

Just beat it in one long sitting. Badass game. The final boss battle is intense.

I haven't been playing a lot of console games. I really don't know why but I just haven't. Anyway, just a quick summary of what I've been playing for the past month or so: Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Wii) - Fun game. Can get repetitive at times but the gameplay is great so you're not drifting off at times. The dialogue is good, story is pretty straight forward and the graphics are very beautiful. They may lack actual 3D rendering, but the 2D art totally makes up for it. It's worth a rent, especially for Wii owners. Pokemon HeartGold (DS) - I really didn't think I would get back into Pokemon. Ever. I thought the last time I was going to really give it a shot was with FireRed & LeafGreen, and even those weren't really all that great. I bought Diamond and tried to get into it, but I just couldn't. It didn't feel the same like when I was a kid. Then, I heard about the Gold & Silver remakes and was excited, but also worried. Gold and Silver were the last 2 games that really had me playing for 4+ hours a day and hearing remake isn't always pleasant. But, I'm happy to say that not only do they live up to the hype, but actually exceed it. It feels like a new experience, yet doesn't stray far from the originals. Graphics are great, really liven up the towns. The sound is fantastic, I hardly ever use headphones when I'm playing a handheld game, but this is one that sounds THAT much better with them, I recommend using them if you have some lying around. They're is only one little problem I have with the game, it seems a little bit too easy. I have 7 out of the 8 badges but I haven't really been challenged to the point where I'm at the edge of my seat. Maybe that's just from years of experience or maybe the game isn't challenging for vets of the games from yesteryear, but that's the only thing I can say negative about it. Oh, and confusion is still a bitch. Even to this day. Worth the buy for all DS owners. The Conduit (Wii) - Sucked. That's all I've been playing at the moment. I know GoW3 & FFXIII are out and Conviction is just weeks away. But I just don't feel like playing them day one. I'll get around to them eventually. BTW, when did they greenlight this? Here's the best part: it's coming out on 4/20. Which totally makes sense. Because surely someone from the publisher must have been high to release a game based on a movie that was made 6 YEARS AGO.

LittleBigPlanetI never really played it because I always stuck with the Story Mode. I just discovered Community Levels, and I'm having much more fun. Especially with Ninja Warrior levels! EWRYep. I remembered about this simulation game, and downloaded it, along with a April 2010 roster update pack. I'm having a ton of fun working with TNA.

TO MAKE IT BETTER. I just realized by adding those four words, the whole statement is taken in a completely different context.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)
Finally got around to finishing AA, and I thought it was good. I really didn't play alot of Batman games back in the day, the only one that comes to mind was that shitty Batman Forever game on SNES.
Graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is good but I felt the combat was a little too easy. All I did was just stand and waited until I saw the little lightning bolts around the enemies and just pressed triangle and then mashed buttons. For what it was, it's ok, but at no point was it challenging. The characters are, as expected, awesome and the sound is good.
My only two complaints that I can make are the combat against the enemies & the last level. That was a let down.
All in all, it's a fun game. I don't think it's a game of the year type game that everyone made it out to be, but it's a fun time waster.
It's a rental. Once you're done with it, you're done with it.

Oh man, you really underrated the combat system. Sure you can go thru the campaign just countering & mashing buttons, but the combat challenges are where the combat really shines. They're hard & force you to do a lot more than just counter/button mash. You should try those out before you write the entire game off as just a rent.
I agree about the final boss fight though. That was a let down.

That was a let down. Before I go any further, I forgot to mention the stealth aspect of the game, which is good. In fact, it's really good. That was my favorite part of the gameplay. The drop in when you're hanging from a statue, the various ways you can take down someone through a vent or through one of those doors on the ground, all of that was fantastic. That said, I did try the combat challenges, and I didn't really like them. Especially the ones where, again, you have to beat up a certain amount of enemies to beat the stage. I'll admit it is difficult in that they're are alot of them as you advance, but it still didn't change the fact that it was still easy and boring, to me. The stealth challenges were good though. I still think once you've finished the campaign portion of the game, the only thing to do really is just finish it on hard and complete the challenges. That's not enough for me to buy it. I'm looking forward to AA2. I just hope they make it a little more challenging in the combat dept.

You need to play those advanced (extreme I think) combat challenges. They force you to use the entire bat-arsenal.

Resident Evil 5 (PS3) - I'll be the first to admit, I really despise my first run at the game. Maybe it was because no matter how hard I tried, I kept comparing it to Resident Evil 4. I also didn't like the fact that this was mainly an online adventure, something that I was against from the beginning. Mainly because I felt that this was one of those games that wasn't meant to go online, it was a single player adventure, I guess you can say I was stuck in the old way of playing games.
Now, I was rearranging my Gamefly queue and thought about trying to play RE5 one more time. Especially since God of War 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction or Final Fantasy XIII anytime soon. I also decided to try it on PS3, for one reason: the control scheme. I didn't feel comfortable playing on a 360 controller, mainly when I had to select my weapons or items, the d-pad kept going everywhere except where I wanted it too. Small complaint I know, but it's a decision I'll look back on and say that was the right one.
Obviously I finished the game and I must say, I really liked it this time around. I guess I had to give it time and just block everything out that reminded me of 4. The story is still meh though. Graphically, it looks good, but not great. Control felt alot better, it just jelled alot quicker for me. All in all, while it won't be the best RE game, it's up there with one of the best. I really want to try the Gold Edition of the game, Gamefly oddly didn't have it in stock or on search. But if you had any second guessing on the game and didn't like it the first time around, give it another shot. On whatever console you can play it on, it felt better for me on PS3.
Other Games I'm playing at the moment:
South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play (XB360) - I already finished the game last year, but my cousin just bought the game recently and asked me to play co-op with him. I'll reiterate, the game is alot better than I thought it was going to be. But, it must be played with more than 2 people. The levels get alot more challenging as the game progresses. But, it's worth a buy.
Final Fight: Double Impact (XB360) - The Final Fight series is one of my favorite series in video games. They're straight forwarded. But they're so fun to play! Capcom did the typical re-release treatment: remix soundtrack, give it HD overhaul, online co-op and it's a blast no matter how you play the games. Yes, not only do you get Final Fight, but also Magic Sword, which is like Final Fight but in space. I have yet to play Magic Sword, but Final Fight is alone worth the 800 points it costs.

Evony: Age II I'm sure everyone has seen ads for Evony. You know, it has the near-nude women in it. Anyways, they fixed the ads, and now they're actually related to the game. Not only that, but they upgraded to Age II, which means better graphics and updated features. Recommended to at least try.
Pokemon Crater The third Pokemon MMO I've tried so far, and the second best IMO. Not as good as The Pokemon Moon, but still pretty rad.
Cellfactor: Psychokinetic Wars One of the games I bought on PSN yesterday for $10. Probably the best $10 I've ever spent on PSN. This game looked decent beforehand, but it's amazing IMO, and the price makes it even better. Definitely recommended to any PS3 owner who has leftover money in their Funds.
