The only game I need... and own... FIFA 11. I would like to also endorse Alan Wake. Also, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile... Don't be fooled, there are no vampires in it. Easily one of the most violent games I have played in years. It's on Xbox Live Arcade. Worth every penny. Gamespot gave it a 9.0, and they are incredibly harsh on many games. a 9.0+ is only given to a few games a year (only 12 this year across ALL platforms, including PC and handhelds). www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/the-dishwasher-vampire-smile/index.html

Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta
Fuck playing 10 games of each gametype. Fuck the decals. They aren't worth having if it means I have to play anymore. Team Deathmatch is fine, but Team Objectives & Plunder is beyond the most frustrating thing I've ever played. It's like NOBODY knows what King of the Hill, or Capture The Flag (Plunder) is. Everybody ALWAYS picked Yemen on Plunder, and my teammates did NOTHING but hide in those sniper towers, as if they're playing Deathmatch. In other news, I did pretty amazing during a game of Free-For-All. Surprisingly, nobody stole my kills throughout the entire game, and I got 5 kills back-to-back.

I've been playing a couple of games actually:
On a console, I picked up NCAA Football 12. Really love it. The authentic team entrances are a nice touch and get you into the game a bit more, graphically it is better than 11, and the AI is alot tougher than I thought. Overall, an exceptional game and is the best iteration of the series on the next gen platforms.
I've also rented Monster Tale on the DS and it's a really great game. The game is about a group of nasty kids that sneak into a secret world inhabited by monsters and enslaved them as their pets. They make the monsters do everything for them that results in the downfall of the Monster World. That is, until a girl named Ellie discovers the Monster World and befriends a mysterious young monster named Chomp. They set out on a fantastic adventure to stop these kids and restore the world before it's too late. The game is a classic platformer, you collect hearts to replenish health, coins to upgrade not only Ellie's stats, but Chomps as well. They utilize the top and bottom screens well, you can have Chomp help you beat up baddies and hit objects that need to be hit but you're too small to jump there. But, there's a price to having Chomp on the top screen, his health decreases because the bottom screen is some sort of fortress for him that allows him to not only regain health, but you pick up objects that also boosts his stats. The few boss battles I've played so far have been pretty good, they are gigantic bosses that take up a good portion of the screen, and they are not roll-overs that's for sure. Good rental, and I'll probably buy it when I'm finished with it.
Lastly, I tried out the Bastion demo on XBLA, and WOW that game is awesome. You play as the Kid, and you awake on the only piece of the 'old' world because of some catastrophic event that broke up the world into parts that are now overrun by creatures. It's an action RPG and has a unique anime art style that makes it stand out from the rest of the games on XBLA. You also have a narrator that tells you the story as you play it, which gets you into the story a bit more than just having everything unfold as you play, plus he has that distinct narrator voice that gets your attention. The demo has only one level & mini-boss, but it's enough to give you a feel of what the game is about. I'm really looking forward to playing the full game and giving you guys the impression I get from it, many critics are hailing it as the frontrunner for Game of the Year so far, so for it to get such recognition like that especially for an arcade game, you don't have an excuse to not try out the demo.

Played Dead Island for the first time today since buying it on release (for about 30-45 minutes). If the rest of the game plays out like this, I may be in love.
