Well, if you guys are interested in video essays, this one is really good. And it's about editing which is a subject that I assume everybody here has an interest in.

So I've been checking out that Every Frame a Painting youtube channel, and I really loved these two videos.
Everything you ever wanted to know about why Edgar Wright is the best at directing comedies.
And everything you ever wanted to know about why Jackie Chan is the best at everything.

I've been working my way through them all. I really enjoyed his Speiberg video along with the others that were posted.

You should watch his David Lynch video. It's fantastic. I don't see any David Lynch video on that channel. Link please! But in the meantime, as long as we're posting David Lynch related videos...

Meant to say Fincher. Don't know how I got those 2 mixed up. But his FINCHER video is my favorite so far. The quote at the end makes so much sense once I finally got around to watching every film Fincher has made.

Another movie guy I love on YouTube is a channel YourMovieSucks. And he basically tells you why your movie sucks. He did one for After Earth and its pretty fucking hilarious.
He also analysis movie in depth as well. He is doing one for the fantastic movie Synecdoche, New York.
He has finished 4 parts and he isn't even done yet.

Not surprised that the top film on RT would be something relatively new. Never underestimate the internet's ability to homogenize human thought.

Dear AD, come back to Letterboxd. I miss you. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME IN PEACE? Honestly though, I don't miss it. Not at all. I find that I enjoy watching movies a lot more when I'm not composing reviews in my head while watching them.

Ooh, I've strayed away from the kung-fu stuff, and movies in general since we dropped our MEP, but this looks super interesting. I'd definitely consider this if they release it in the states one day.
