I'm 90% sure this is legit. The other times he's decided to "retire", his body wasn't as banged up as it is now.
I've been vocal on how I feel about him, being a Packers fan as a kid, I couldn't bear watching him in any other jersey other than GB. But, I've never questioned his passion for the game or how much he loves it.
This is an even worse situation for Minnesota, because they put all they're eggs in one basket, now have Tavarus Jackson & Sage Rosenfels as the likely starter/backup. They went from a Super Bowl contender to an 8-8 team FAST.
I think, if this retirement is legit of course, the division is Green Bay's if they want it.
And I think they do.

Favre's back. Yep. But, Favre said it's his 20th and FINAL season. We'll see.

Yesterday was a great start to the college football season.
We got a major upset when Jacksonville State beat Ole Miss, and had some good back and forth games with TCU vs. Oregon St and so many other games that could have went the other way with one or two big plays.
But, none could hold a candle to the UNC vs. LSU game last night on ABC. Considering the fact that UNC lost 13 players, 8 of them starters due to potential NCAA violations. The entire secondary is gone, 3 out of 4 linemen are gone and the offense is still a work in progress.
LSU should have no trouble running them down right?
Right??
To quote a famous saying: "That's why we play the game"
This is why I love college football.

Randy Moss is back with the Vikings after the Patriots traded him for a 3rd round pick.

Word going around with the whole Favre-Sterger scandal is that apparently Brett texted Sterger pictures of himself playing with his junk... while wearing crocs.

Packers/Vikings was just total drama last night. That was the kind of game I've been waiting for since opening weekend. This whole NFL season so far has been a total let down, but yesterday we had a whole bunch of games that went down to the wire but were fun to watch.

Celtics/Heat was a weird, yet fun game to watch. It was the first time I've watched a whole NBA game since probably the Kings/Lakers Western Conference Finals back in 2002. I just fell out of the game since then, but this brought me back.
It was amazing to see LeBron get booed just by handling the ball. He has "white heat" right now and it's fantastic.
As far as the game goes, Miami obviously needs more time to get the chemistry right. You could see glimpses of how well they could play together late in the 4th, but Boston *most notably Allen & Pierce* just kept knocking down three pointers or getting a crucial foul just as Miami was getting on a roll. Boston looked good, everybody was on the same page and Rondo is fun to watch. Shaq looked good in glimpses, although his age is really showing now but not to the point where he can't be a valuable member to this team.
All in all, good game that never really got boring.

The Minnesota Vikings waved WR Randy Moss. What a waste of a 3rd round pick!

Randy Moss is my favorite person in the history of the NFL. Straight cash homie!
Seriously though, the Vikings are looking even more dysfunctional than the Cowboys right now.

This should be interesting.
