If he had hit it, that very first dunk Blake Griffin attempted would have been the best dunk of the night, if not the best Dunk Contest dunk in a long time.

Your right Vyper. Even the attempted 2nd dunk where Davis was hitting it off the back of the backboard and Blake was corkscrewing in the air, if he hit that, it would have won it for him.

Gold Cup starts Sunday. Kind of excited for it, even though it will most likely end up as a Mexico vs US final again. Those games aren't too bad though. Really excited for the Copa America next month though. It will be a bad day for Argentina if they don't at least get to the semis.

Another riDIRKulous comeback by the Mavericks... meh. I'd like to see Dirk get a ring, but I need $100 worse than he needs a ring right about now. Go Heat.

I hope he gets the ring, but even moreso for Jason Kidd. I would also like to say that this NBA Playoffs have been the best in a LONG time. Hopefully we get more of these kinds of series in the near future. Finally, Shaq's retirement announcement/brunch was one of the best retirement speeches I've ever seen. I mean, when you can fit a Kazaam reference in your speech, you got something special. It sucks that he's retiring because he was one of, if not, the last of the 90s stars to go is something bittersweet but it was time. I totally recommend everyone to watch it, you'll be sad for like a second and then laughing at Shaq threatening Skip Bayless & Stephen A. Smith. It was awesome.

So the US got completely demolished by Spain yesterday. They literally had no answer for Spain's gameplan, which just killed them. It really shouldn't surprise me but I was really hoping for an upset. Gold Cup starts today, and I'm really looking forward to it. I was thinking US had one of the stronger teams going in but after their horrible performance against Spain I'm having second thoughts. Then again, there really is no team in the Gold Cup that can compare to Spain right now.

So yeah, that was an awesome final game for the Gold Cup. I was surprised US got the lead so early in the game because frankly I thought they were going to get demolished but they did a good job for the rest of the game. Chicharito kept missing shots which is kind of what he always does but I was surprised he didn't at least get one in. The last goal by Giovanni was just amazing, and the best goal of the whole tournament. I'm glad Mexico won, I was rooting for them at the start of the tournament but they'll probably not fare as well during the Copa America. Especially with the team being so young, the chances of them getting far are slim. I'm excited for the Copa America though, I expect some great games.

The Good for Me:We do have a crazy hard schedule this year, though... It may not look tough, but 10 of the 12 teams we play against were bowl teams. The Bad for Me:Yep. Bad.

The Good for Me:We do have a crazy hard schedule this year, though... It may not look tough, but 10 of the 12 teams we play against were bowl teams. The Bad for Me:Yep. Bad. ND is one of the 5 teams ESPN is picking to have a breakout season. The others BYU, Arizona State, Syracuse & Michigan. As a ND fan myself, my expectations are pretty high considering year one was essentially a trial run (as with any first year coach) and now we start to see their plans start to come together. Here's to a great season! As for Cincy...yeah.

Charlie Weis's brother, the cop, at the beginning? Nahhh, he doesn't have nearly a big enough front-butt.
