I've been out of action in this section for a bit but
1. The GOAT debate that you guys are having is laughable cause you failed the mention Conor McGOAT
2. UFC 187 looks amazing I really hope that stays together.
3. I'm happy that Rory is getting his title shot BUT I have Robby beating him again.

You know you fucked up when your entire fight fits within the a single gif. I'd have been so pissed off if I stayed up till 6am for a 14 second fight.

I like what Helwani said though in that Ronda has become like Tyson in that people want her to just destroy people in the first round. Holly Holmes looked so nervous coming out for her fight. It seemed she got comfortable as the fight went on but no way is she ready for a title fight. The only two Ronda fights that make sense to me now are Cyborg (which despite all the things going against this I think is most likely the next fight for both of them) or Miesha III. Kos getting choked out looked sick.
I saw Invicta Friday and Alexa Grasso is my new favorite. I hope she continues to do good and is called up to the UFC.

I'm starting to think we're never gonna see Ronda vs Cyborg. Even if she could make 135, Dana has no interest in sacrificing his female cash cow to the 'Borg. Correia, Holm, & possibly Tate III are likely Ronda's next string of opponents. I don't see any of them giving her any problems though. |

Dana would make Ronda vs Cyborg no doubt if she could make 35's. I really don't understand why people act like Dana is protecting Ronda. Cyborg simply isn't in the weight class and it would make 0 sense for Rousey to move up to fight somebody who hasn't been relevant in years unless her name involves 'Ronda Rousey' in the same sentence. The reason why I don't see it ever happening is cause Cybor walks around at 175 as seen on twitter today. No way she's making 35's. It's kinda pointless to make the fight where there is no belt on the line.
Also, Hell yeah Alexa Grasso is a little beast. Her and Irene Aldana MUST be on the next Mexico card. I could easily see Alexa picking off girls at 115 as well as Aldana at 35's.

I really think Holm wasn't impressive at all, for all the hype. Kos looked really tired and wasn't proposing, seemed like he wanted to counter strike, and wasn't very impressive on the takedowns, and that's usually his forte.
Ronda's truly the #1 right now. Nobody can touch her. She's a beast.

Alexa on the Mexico card would be sweet! Plus it would mean she'd be closer to taking the title away from Esparza.
I think Cyborg can make 135. She'll definitely lose some muscle but if she gets a good nutritionist she'll be fine. I'll make a bold prediction and say Rousey vs Cyborg happens before the end of the year.
