I had nooo idea this show was happening tonight! Skipped the most recent UFC because I just couldn't bring myself to care (it was the first since 72 that I haven't watched), but tonight's card looks nuts. Thank god for AT&T's remote DVR - i'll have something to enjoy when I get home from school.

Another stellar show from WEC! Mark Hominick looked great picking Garcia apart. I think he's close to getting a title shot... Aldo/Hominick would be sick. How do you kill a zombie? Shoot it in the head. How do you kill a Korean zombie? Kick it in the head. Roop's headkick KO on the Korean Zombie was amazing... made even more painful with Jung falling face first onto his own knee on the way down. Ouch. I'm glad to see Miguel Torres back on track. He looked good putting away Valencia. Hopefully Urijah beats Mizugaki next month so we can finally get that Faber/Torres dream match everyone's wanted for a couple years now. The Mongolian Wolf looked good subbing Garza, especially after Bonnar questioned his BJJ skills (despite the fact that he's got 9 submission victories on his record... good call Stephan ). It'll be interesting to see how Zhang handles the competition here since Zuffa's banking on this guy as they move into the Chinese market. Cerrone schooled Varner! Great fight! Usually these bad blood fights turn into snoozers with guys unwilling to take any risks, but this one did not disappoint. Nice to see Cerrone come in with a smart gameplan, while still being the exciting fighter he is. I would love to see a rubber match. Jose Aldo continues to look incredible. Feels out Manny in the first round, while stick picking him apart with brutal legkicks. Then Jose knocks him out cold from the turtle position... how often do you see that?! Fuck, I love that guy!

I'll be impressed with Overeem whenever he beats someone relevant at heavyweight... in MMA.

Strikeforce should sign better heavyweights. It's not his fault that there is no one around to fight. Werdum is out with injury and Fedor's management took too long to decide, and when Overeem finally decided to go K1 they tried to make Overeem look like he was dodging.

Nobody in Strikeforce's heavyweight division want to fight eachother. Overeem never wanted to fight Fedor & vice versa. Werdum doesn't want to fight Overeem, he'd rather rematch Fedor. And I don't think any of their them want to risk fighting the infamous Josh Barnett. WAR DIAZ!!!UFC 127 on Superbowl weekend is looking very tasty... Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort, Jon Jones vs Ryan Bader, Evan Dunham vs Kenny Florian, Rich Franklin vs Forrest Griffin.

I call England taking the whole pie tonight!
EDIT: Asshole TV Channel advertised UFC 120 was last nite for some reason, I, being the drool that I am, was careless enough to not check until they started airing a replay of Dan Hardy and Bisping's previous fights. People shat on them via Twitter so I hear. I feel like an idiot.

Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort, Jon Jones vs Ryan Bader, Evan Dunham vs Kenny Florian, Rich Franklin vs Forrest Griffin. I don't think it's that no one in the heavyweight division wants to fight each other, I think it's just that Strikeforce pretty much let's the fighters pick their fights. Overeem had said it best when he mentioned they should set up a system similar to the ufc in which you had 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4 rank and so on. Example: Overeem vs Werdum for the Strikeforce Championship (Over agreed to this bout already, but Werdum was hurt and Werdum's fight was for the No. 1 contenders spot that everyone conveniently forgot about when Werdum shocked the world. I guess Stirkeforce was alredy setting up Overeem vs Fedor in December. Fedor vs Silva- Again, maybe not the match that everyone wants to see but the match that makes most sense. Fedor lost so he is 3rd in SF rankings, and Silva is 4th so 3 vs 4. And the winner of that fight should get the next title shot. Not that difficult Stirkeforce. And Barnett is a wild card, just put him in there with Andre or Herschel get a nice freak-show fight going. No way should this guy get close to a belt or HE WILL END A COMPANY He is like the Vince Russo of MMA. That 127 card is stacked, I can only see myself maybe ordering two more ppvs in the next 6 months. That one and the Brocktober one in a few weeks. The Machida/Rampage and GSP/Kos sound interesting but I'm not sold completely yet.
