Impressive performances by Ben and Faber.... Always been a fan of Varner but he is just becoming a bigger douchebag every time he opens his mouth. Aldo vs Faber Ben vs Cowboy 2 I'm pumped.

Not as good as most WEC shows, but some decent fights...
"I came to fight, Ben came to grapple, two different things."

I agree, Eric... not one of the better WEC shows, but considering they're great 99% of the time, it's easily forgivable. Jamie Varner... what a classless douche. I lost a lot of respect for him after the way he acted last year in his fight with Cerrone, & tonight just cements him as someone I'll be rooting against no matter what. WAR BENDO!!! (suck it, JRoc ) I think I'd rather see Cerrone/Varner II before Cerrone/Henderson II. I think Cerrone has progressed more than Varner has in that past year & I think he takes the rematch. Faber looked great... absolutely cannot wait for Aldo/Faber... that is gonna be a sick fight! Now onto tonight... Come on, Nate! You gotta keep that wet blanket away from a title match!

I've already got it set to record. It's too bad they didn't do this back before they signed Rampage, Crocop, Wand, Big & Lil Nog.

Good god was Rogan on Maynard's nuts of what?....Could've went either way imo.
I really hope Edgar gets the shot after the lackluster performance by Gray, although Edgar would get mauled by BJ just as bad as anyone.
Dunham also looked impressive, slick transitions.

Props to Gray... for showing that he's boring at 2 aspects of MMA. Atleast it'll be fun to watch BJ work this clown over.

That Fight Night sucked. I never want to see Gray Maynard again.
WEC, as everybody already said, was decent. Almost bad for a WEC show, but I really enjoyed it. The Faber fight was something else, that was a GSP in Montreal kind of reaction.

Yeah, the Fight Night didn't do anything for me either. Dana just announced Edgar as BJ's next opponent, thankfully, saying Gray isn't ready. Interview here

I was just about to post that. I'm happy for Frankie, but after last nights performance, I reeeeeally wanted to see BJ smash Maynard.
That card is gonna be awesome: Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort, BJ Penn vs Frankie Edgar, Renzo Gracie vs Matt Hughes... ok Renzo/Hughes not so much.
Edit: I don't think Fight Night was that bad. It was a little disappointing that 3 of the 4 fights went to decision & no prelims made it to air, but it was still free & the first 3 fights were average-pretty good.
Amir/Blackburn was ok, if not a little underwhelming since Amir rocked Brad once in each round, but still couldn't finish him. Amir just doesn't have that killer instinct... & he tries way to hard to be Forrest Jr.
Lawlor/Simpson was good, even though Lawlor couldn't finish Simpson in the first round & the decision should have gone to "Filthy."
Dunham/Efrain was a lot of fun, considering Evan came back from nearly being finished in the first round to finishing Efrain with a sick armbar in the third.
Maynard/Diaz was the only bad fight.
All in all, it wasn't great, but it could have been a whole lot worse.

Yeah, that's a cool fight. Maybe we'll see if Dos Santos has any ground skills. Or it'll be one of these fights where Napao loses his confidence and gets knocked out.
