You guys seem to forget how Carwin & Cain got the best of & beat Brock... not by simply coming out & throwing hands. They nullified Brock's wrestling first.
Brock wouldn't stand with Overeem. All the "horse meat" in the world wouldn't help Overeem stuff one of Brock's takedowns or help him get up off his back.
And he may not be a world beater, but atleast Brock has relevant wins in the heavyweight division.

127 was a major letdown for me.
They opened the PPV with Noke/Camozzi. G-Sot & Lytle's momentum were completely crushed. Bisping wins. And the main event ends in a majority draw.
I haven't even watched the prelims yet.
Hopefully Sanchez vs Kampmann washes the taste of disappointment outta my mouth.

Bisping just solidified the fact he's a fuckin idiot. The Rivera vids were mildly humorous but I give him credit for trying to hype up a fight that he had no business bein in imo. Bisping spits at Riveras corner? and celebrates while his opponent is still down from an illegal knee?...get the fuck outta here. Hopefully they throw him a top MW so I can watch him get the shit kicked out of him. Penn shocked the shit out of everone when he took Fitch down a few times. But after the first round the fight went down exactly how everyone thought it would with Fitch goin for takedowns and then pummeling BJ in his guard. I had Fitch winnin 2 barely and 3 but I wasnt surprised by the draw. A rematch is fine I guess but I dont think anybody wants to see GSP maul either one of these guys again. Idk I guess Ficth vs Penn 2 for the vacant title could be a possiblilty when GSP beats Shields. Not sure who Condit gets next cuz he's up there in the ranks too. |

I didn't watch the show, and by the sound of it I m kinda glad I didn't. Fitch = No Buys for me, So I guess it's going to be these two again? That's if BJ even decides to come back and fight. I wouldn't be too surprised if BJ hung em up or at the very least took some time off. He does not look very motivated anymore, that or he mentally shuts down when the fight doesn't go exactly the way he plans it. I mean he destroyed Diego but I saw him get frustrated when he couldn't put Diego away. The same thing with Frankie Edgar, the second fight was like BJ gave up mid-fight.
It appears that they want to line up Bisping vs. Sonnen which would be awesome, heel vs heel and hope they knock each other out at the same time.

or he mentally shuts down when the fight doesn't go exactly the way he plans it. ^This + he doesn't like to train as hard as an elite fighter should so he gasses out easily. Sonnen/Bisping would be entertaining, but I'd rather see them each lose in devastating fashion. I want Bisping vs Stann & Sonnen vs anybody with decent BJJ & heart. |
