Smackdown was just boring last night. The only match I remember was Jericho/Cesaro, which was great as usual from both guys. Everything else blended in together so I can't remember just what happened beyond that one match.

I actually tuned into the start of Smackdown this week (a rare occurrence for me these days), but I stopped watching after I realized the show would be centered around a six man tag with Sheamus, Del Rio, and Orton vs Henry, Swagger, and Show. A combination of the three dullest ongoing programs in the company? Not for me.
Slightly disappointed I missed a Jericho/Cesaro match, though.

I mean Shield vs. Usos wasn't terrible.

I mean Shield vs. Usos wasn't terrible. It was like what, 5 minutes? It might have been even less than that actually. You are right though, it wasn't a terrible match given the time they had to work with. I just wished they would have let those guys do what they do best.

I had no idea there even was a ppv last night. Could've sworn it was next weekend.

Ambrose/Kofi was really good. Rollins & Reigns vs Hell No was good. Everything else was dookie. Bunch of terrible gimmick matches.

I thought repackaging of Fandango was most inminent. Curt Axel? Call him Joe Hennig and get this over with.

Tonight... was the genesis... of Axel!
Also, Ryback now dresses more like Bully Ray than Goldberg.
Also also, that six man was great!

I thought repackaging of Fandango was most inminent. Curt Axel? Call him Joe Hennig and get this over with. First he's Michael McGillicutty, now he's Curt Axel. *ugh* Will they not let him use his own name cause unlike guys like Orton, Rhodes, & DiBiase, his dad was a victim of the pre-wellness policy wrestling lifestyle? This is the only reason I can think of why they wouldn't just let him be Joe Hennig. At least his new theme is a take on Mr. Perfect's. Shield vs Hell No & Kofi... what a treat. The Shield & Daniel Bryan continue to be the only entertaining aspect of WWE in Punk's absence (sorry, Ziggler, losing every week & getting concussed by Swagger isn't cutting it). D-Bry goes beast mode & the crowd absolutely eats it up. I love it. One more thing I wanna touch on. Something they did right tonight... Big E. getting a heelish win against the higher-up-the-card ADR. This is how you get your heels over. Not by jobbing them out clean to Randy Orton or having them be an afterthought in a dumb injury angle like they did to Curtis Axel. Typing that just made me angry. Time to rant. What the fuck is HHH's problem? Why can't he be bothered to put over some young guys? He comes back to have a trilogy that nobody wanted to see with Brock & now he's gonna run some goofy injury angle that does nothing for anyone. Chris Jericho is the only veteran who does what's best for the future of the business & actually puts the next generation over.

I totally agree with that. The 6 man was a PPV quality match... The Shield is by far the greatest thing going for WWE right now, in terms of everything. I mean, Bryan has great matches and great charisma but it's sad as fuck to see him with no clear direction. Big E. winning over Alberto was good to see in an "I didn't expect it" kind of way, which is always cool.
Triple H has always been like that. I remember when Randy won his first WHC, and they did it just so Triple H would betray him and feed off of it. He's egotistical like that, the motherfucker. Even two years ago during the "Summer of Punk", he wouldn't put care to put over the most popular thing in WWE in years. I mean, Brock wasn't at RAW to sell the match from Extreme Rules, but even though he lost, Triple H was there, to do his stupid angle.
At least I hope they let Curtis Axel do great. Maybe one day we'll see the Paul Heyman guys hold the belts as well.

His grandfather: Larry "The Axe" Henning His father: Curt Henning
At least it's somewhat logical.

Anything's better than anything with "McGillicutty". Imagine chanting that.
