Stop using magic bullet looks presets too. I won't even be using MBL once I get into some other plugins which I might as well do tomorrow.

Working on my first MMV after being inspired by Project Cinema. Really enjoying this so far. I originally wanted to pace myself to get it done in time for the September comp (or whatever), so of course I'm currently on track to finish it later this week. Sigh...

I'd like to do a couple of ideas such as the passing of the NXT Championship or a video documenting the downfall of Alicia Fox. But for what I'm capable of atm, just some MV's using k-pop. But I find lyrical syncing with a language I don't understand to be quite an obstacle. Meep... I'm lazy..

Lmfao, you're right honestly. Let's just say her brief push in the summer of 2010 leading to her decline recently as a jobber. I remember back in 2009 when she was introduced as Michelle McCool's manager she was rumoured to have a mega planned push. Guess that's a lesson learnt to never trust dirt sheets.

I have absolutely no recollection of this. However, go for it! If you can pull it off and it's something that interests you, no reason not to!

And yeah, I'll definitely give it my all. It'll definitely be a challenge though! But then again where's the fun if there's no challenge you know?

I originally wanted to pace myself to get it done in time for the September comp (or whatever), so of course I'm currently on track to finish it later this week. Sigh... I find it very hard to find MV topics. Basically, I just listen to songs until I suddenly get an inspiration, listen to them ten times again while scribbling down notes. Exceptions to this are very rare. And once I get hooked on an idea, I become pretty obsesed with it. So, for some reason I'm constantly inspired by songs recently. I may or may not be working on/thinking about half a dozen videos currently. I think I need some help.

After my first attempt at an MV at this past year's Vidmas competition, I had to take a look at what I want to accomplish and plan it out WAY ahead of time and go through with it to completion. I think what had me so hesitant was going from Final Cut to Premiere. While it was easier, I had most of my footage on my school computer and couldn't get it done there since I was more often than not working on class work there and then had to come up with another idea here at home. I'm glad I went through the turmoil and anxiety that came with editing and submitting my video days before the comp started because it helped me realize where my faults were and where I need to improve at. I've since gotten comfortable with Premiere and have made use of my time WAY better than a couple of months ago.
Which leads me to why I'm posting here after a very long break editing any kind of video. I've always been fascinated with the idea of the concept album. The first time I became familiar with that term was listening to Pink Floyd's landmark album Dark Side of the Moon. Since then, I have always gravitated towards those albums because I really think tying a story throughout the whole album while making the music stand out on their own is very creative. I'm sure you can guess where I'm going with this: I want to make a concept MV. I've told this to someone here a couple of years back but was never in the serious stages of actually attempting to go forward with such a thing because I didn't have the experience yet. Now that I have, I feel more comfortable going forward. As for what album I'll be using is still up in the air. Dark Side might be the choice since I know it inside and out, but El Dorado by Electric Light Orchestra is the kind of album that doesn't get enough attention that I feel like I can give it the spotlight it deserves.
I also haven't forgotten about my Brett Favre video from a few years back. With his retirement and induction into the Packers Hall of Fame, I have the best ending possible for that vid.
