Damn, went to the wrong one! Night One was still the shit though. Got to Two Sweet Marty. For a villain, he might be the nicest guy in the world. Riddle & Cobb vs Ketih Lee & Dijak was nuts and definitely worth buying the DVD for. The Lucha Underground guys were awesome, as were all the Progress dudes that came out. Flash Morgan Webster is gunna be a star. Jonah Rock was cool, wish they'd bring in his tag partner though if you guys know who that is... Meltzer is fuckin jacked! Aside from him, the only other known person there was Shayna Bazler. Apparently Ronda was there for Night 2. Oh yeah, Cynthia Vance was there too. Was gunna get into the ring and challenge her to a match at Vidmas on behalf of durty530, but then I decided not to. Maybe next time. As much as I love Reseda and the armory, I wish they'd either blast the AC or consider running another building every so often. It's already 100 degrees outside, but inside it feels doubled. Hard to pay attention at times when the heat is really getting to you. Random note, was working out in the hotel gym that next morning when some dude who looked like Regal got on a treadmill. Then I see the dude's leg tat and it says "Made In England." So yeah, think I impressed him enough. Developmental here I come. See ya guys!

Not something I would have guessed this time last week, but the Keith Lee / Donovan Dijak (Night 3) match from BOLA got five stars from Meltzer. Highest rated match of the entire weekend.

I mean... Jonah Rock's partner is Elliot Sexton, who happens to be MVZ Hall of Famer, PNB. I think you're onto something.

I think the spot with Fenix bouncing on the ropes that opens that video might just be my favorite thing I've ever seen in a wrestling ring.

Finished watching BOLA today. Took me well over a week to get through all three shows, though. I can never seem to make it through an entire PWG show in one sitting. As much as I enjoy the matches, after two or three of them I start wanting to do something else. I'm wondering if this is common with other people as well. The lack of production value might have something to do with it. I can only look at that same hard camera angle for so long before I need a break.

Even being a big fan, I can only sit through a few matches at a time. I think the burnout factor is pretty high when nearly every wrestler is going out to steal the show.

Same on my end. Every match can main event any other indy card, so after 2-3 matches I'm exhausted. Usually just let the dvd play out while I do other stuff. My BOLA dvds still haven't come in the mail. And Super Dragon is taking forever to track my package.

Kinda sad to say, but if this were any other company, I’d be like “this looks amazing!!!” But since it’s PWG, it looks good.
I don’t hate him as much as Sami Callihan - I don’t hate him at all really, but after years and years, isn’t it time we moved on from the Brian Cage opening match nearly every show?
I can’t figure out the reason, but PWG and I just haven’t been clicking much this year. Hopefully that changes in the new year.
