Any WWE segment that involves two or more women holding microphones at the same time. The writers just come up with the most atrocious dialogue for those poor girls. It's all just catty insults and ham-handed pop culture references.

Roman Reigns. I mean the name, not the person. If he's so proud of his Samoan heritage, why would he anglicize his name like that? I know these are details we aren't supposed to think of as poor dumb wrestling fans. But it bugs me anyway.

Using "sports entertainer" as a replacement for "wrestler."
I know, it's been around forever, and it's pointless to complain at this point. But honestly, that specific term just gets under my skin. I've come to accept "sports entertainment" as a replacement for "wrestling." I still don't like it, but I can tolerate it at this point. But every time I hear "these are two world class sports entertainers" or anything like that my blood pressure rises a little bit. It just sounds insulting to me. And it absolutely kills any suspension of disbelief. If you absolutely can't have any reference to the word wrestling you could always call them fighters, or competitors, grapplers, combatants, athletes, etc.
I really enjoyed Saturday's Takeover show, but Mauro Ranallo was just killing me with the "sports entertainer" (not his fault, but still...).

I despise pretty much every non-NJPW wrestling crowd nowadays. It has just become the crowds trying to get themselves over, often at the expense of good matches.
The beachball crap on tonight's Raw after Summerslam last night made me completely turn on this garbage.

On a related note, Mauro's hip hop/pop culture references make me cringe. A lot of em are just too forced.

The beachball crap on tonight's Raw after Summerslam last night made me completely turn on this garbage. Agree completely. I despise almost all American wrestling crowds in 2017, but the Brooklyn crowds are far and away the worst. For me it started at last year's Summerslam during the Balor/Rollins match when they ignored a really good match in favor of chanting about a dumb belt. But then this Raw crowd was another level of awful. Chanting "this match sucks" during an 8 man tag where the guys are working really hard and doing some cool stuff just because it's a cruiserweight match doesn't make you cool, edgy wrestling fans. It makes you the enemy of good wrestling. By the way, Mexican crowds are the best. Japan is number two.

They're always 100% focused onto the matches. It's weird how different the NXT Takeover crowd was from the next night at summerslam lol. Specifically Takeover crowds because fullsail is horrendous lol.

"The Look" - The idea that somebody can be a star just by looking like a star. I'd say it's an antiquated notion in 2017, but I don't think it ever held true in the first place.
This weekend I finally got around to watching the Kevin Owens DVD documentary that they put out awhile ago, and I was really annoyed by how much they talked about his appearance. The whole narrative that they craft is basically "he succeeded in spite of his looks." How many people need to "redefine the look" before they realize fans just don't care that much about that sort of thing. Shawn Michaels was too small. Mick Foley was too fat and ugly. CM Punk was too scruffy and didn't have any muscle definition. Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, and Daniel Bryan were too short. Aesthetics can help, but the list of stars who succeeded without out "the look" is far longer than the list of stars who got by on nothing but "the look."

Nakamura's triangle choke. Dude just crosses his feet together. It's basically as bad as Cena's STF.
