I thought I'd create this thread in the interest of not always being so negative all the time.
Whatever the opposite of a pet peeve is, that's what this thread is about.
For example:
-Japanese play-by-play announcers.
They are all awesome! I don't speak the language. I never understand what they're saying. But the emotion and enthusiasm they generate makes Jim Ross sound like David Otunga.

I was actually going to make this, haha.
-PWG -When wrestlers look like they are having fun performing. -Jeff Cobb -Jason Jordan's hot tag -Jason Jordan's suplexes -Scott Steiner promos -Great squash matches -Non-scripted promos / real, emotional moments

I was also thinking of making this thread. My favorite thing in wrestling at the moment is JR & Josh Barnett doing commentary for NJPW on AXS TV. JR had a rocky start, not being very knowledgeable about Japanese wrestling, but he's caught on pretty quickly just by applying his love of & vast knowledge of pro wrestling & it's history in general. He seems genuinely enthusiastic about what he's calling without having to worry about selling some ridiculous WWE-style storyline. And the two of them have great chemistry together. AD, how dare you mention JR & Otunga in the same sentence. I demand a written apology!

I love a good old surprise return.
NOT THE STUPID SHIT WWE DOES WHERE THEY ANNOUNCE IT SO THAT THEY GET VIEWERSHIP.
The beautiful and magnificent kayfabe, where two bad guys are beating up a good guy and all of a sudden the hero return OUT OF THE BLUE to save them. I mark out and i love it.

Melissa Santos... ...you know... ...because she's such a good ring announcer... ...seriously, that's the only reason. Actually I really do think she's a very good ring announcer. She does it with flare.

-When commentators sound like they actually enjoy watching wrestling. (This is the primary appeal of PWG for me.)
-When a wrestler sells a beating by going all rubber-legged and staggering around the ring. (Ricky Steamboat is the all time king of this. Sami Zayn might be the modern master.)
