JUST saw Kaval's TNA shout-out on NXT.
"That was stupid. He's probably going to get cut now." "Why would you say that?" "Because he's an idiot."

I don't think it was a shout-out... it was more of a shot at TNA.

I'm a bit behind the conversation, but...
I didn't like how Nexus was treated on Raw. The promo wasn't too destructive, but the rest of the show was pretty awful. Barrett and Skip were the only two who beat somebody clean, and none of the matches were anything good. The group started off with a certain mystique, but Raw was seemingly dedicated to deconstructing them entirely by flaunting their flaws as much as possible.
Skip's injury is a huge blow to Nexus, and it really sucks for him. You've got to feel bad for all of the NXT rookies. They're called up before their ready, and if they don't deliver right away they've got little chance for upward mobility. Darren Young had no business being a main event star... but can you imagine working that fucking hard at something, getting on TV for six months, and most likely being discarded not long after? The youth movement this year has been a huge improvement, but it's still hurting a ton of these young guys who might have potential given more seasoning.
Percy Watson counts as one of the guys who is not ready, Vyper. But, c'mon - the guy was atleast getting reactions! Someone like McGuillicutty clearly has more of a chance of making it long term, but he still hasn't figured out what the fuck his character is. Percy's green as all hell but the dude was tremendous at bringing his gimmick to life - even standing still he still finds a way to do it in character.
I haven't seen the del Rio match yet, but his promo with Rey was quite good. Looking forward to seeing what they do with him over the coming months.

You make some good points, but I think 2 clean wins for Nexus is more than enough for 1 night. How can you complain about heels getting wins using heelish tactics? And how were their flaws flaunted? Triple H didn't come out & tell them they couldn't talk or wrestle... John Cena made fun of the way they looked. That's what he & every other babyface in WWE do. I agree about Perfect Jr. though. He can't figure out if he's a babyface or heel, but that'll change when he's integrated into the RAW or SmackDown roster & actually given a gimmick. Urkel on the otherhand only got reactions for a few weeks. He hasn't gotten any heat what-so-ever since he tried to turn on MVP. What a performer!

SD hasn't been shown in my area but I've been hearing a lot of positive things about Alberto Del Rio. A side question, anyone know if they are going to do an NXT 3?

I wouldn't say I was super impressed with Del Rio, but I was pleasantly surprised... mainly cause I was expecting the second coming of that dud they stuck with Vicky last year. I forgot his name. Anyways, I'll wait a little longer until I form an opinion on Del Rio.
Regarding NXT season 3, I dunno. Season 2 ends in a couple weeks & I think WWE has the timeslot on SyFy until October, so who knows, they may try to squeeze another season in before then.

You know who should be eliminated from NXT next...Michael Cole, then Bryan and Kaval should kick him in the face until his head explodes.

Season 3 of NXT will have a pretty good line-up I'm guessing. You've got Consequences Creed, Incognito, and possibly Tyler Black leading that crew.

And some divas I read somewhere.

Just saw Smackdown, Alberto Del Rio just became a main eventer....in Smackdown at least. He has a really strong gimmick and his accent allows him to differentiate himself from most of the regular heels. Plus he's really good in the ring.

The last 45 minutes of NXT doesn't have any rookies... & the season finale is next week. What the hell?
Ki cut a great promo on Cody, though. And Cody/MVP was a good 25 minute match.

Yeah NXT was really dumb. I enjoyed Kaval's promo and Cody Rhodes just generally being the man.

RAW was a lot of fun. Only thing I didn't like was the divas segment. Other than that, RAW was a blast like HJA said.
