CoD: Black Ops just revealed a set of new multiplayer modes called "Wager Mode". Okay, looks awesome.
One in the Chamber: In the match everyone spawns in with a pistol, one bullet and three lives. If you kill someone you get to take their bullet. If you fire and miss you're left with melee.
Sticks and Stones: You spawn with a crossbow, ballistic knife and a tomahawk. If you hit a player with the tomahawk you instantly bankrupt that player.
Gun Game: You get a series of progressive weapons in this match. With every kill you get a better weapon. The first person to progress through all of the weapons wins. But if you get knifed you get sent back one tier.
Sharp Shooter: In this one all players start with the same randomly selected weapon. You get to use that gun for a fixed amount of time and then everyone gets switched out to the next weapon. With each kill you earn a perk and eventually a scoring multiplier.
The game will also have a mode called "Combat Training". It's pretty much offline multiplayer with AI bots.

It's great that they're trying to expand the free for all modes in COD finally. Gun Game was one of my favorite modes in Counter Strike.

2K Games are going to stream 'something big' at the PAX convention tomorrow. New Kirby: Epic Yarn trailer - Dead Space 2 will be getting a rumored multiplayer mode called "Solder vs. Necromorphis". The mode will have deathmatch style combat and will be just one of several multiplayer modes the game will have when it releases in early 2011. Mega Man Universe gameplay trailer: L.A. Noire, the film-noir game from Rockstar, has been scheduled for release in early 2011. New Batman: Arkham City screenshots: *Special thanks to Kotaku for the Arkham City screenshots*

That told us nothing... I wanna see how it handles a 2D fighter! I know. I was expecting something more explained, especially since it was coming from Joystiq. Here's a question, when it's not clicked up or whatever, is it the regular d-pad we have now? Because it look like it is from the video.

Wait, BioShock 3?! Did I miss something? In related news, I'm finally playing BioShock 1. It's awesome. Just got up to the point where you get your plasmids back after they go batshit. Time to go fuck up Fontaine.

Time to go fuck up Fontaine. This is actually a prequel in the Bioshock story. I think someone messed up when they were doing the covers. Or, since it is technically Bioshock 3, Irrational Games doesn't care if it's called Bioshock 3.

Actually, I even forgot Infinite was named Bioshock, given its in the air and all.

inFamous 2 gameplay Harmonix announced that Rock Band 3 will let you import songs from Rock Band 2, for a fee of course. Pricing will be announced soon. They also revealed that 'pro' DLC songs, the mode that actually teach you how to play the instrument your using, will probably be priced more than regular DLC.

They're is a new PS3 firmware update for all users, which is mandatory. The update seems to be in response to the PSJailbreak, which lets users back up their games on a HDD.
