Thanks.
As am I. I torrented them when the first 10 issues or so were out. After they released a few volumes, I got the GIANT colored book from a Barnes & Noble. I really hope it turns out well.

I know I'm behind since I'm on a torrent and don't get BBC America, but Series 15 of Top Gear has been great so far. The camping trip and the saga of the Renault Robin had me in tears.

I still watch the Reliant Robin segment every once in awhile and it is always hilarious.

Thought last nights episode was a great comeback. It wasn't as epic as I expected, considering his first and last few shows of the Tonight Show, but it was still really good. Loved the opening segment and his monologue. Hooray for Conan!

...nobody's talked about The Walking Dead yet?
I watched the first episode Saturday, and the second episode today. Definitely going to be watching this every week. Since BB and Walking Dead are the only two AMC shows I watch, I have to ask: Do they have the same guy opening each show with the "Previously on..." segment?

I absolutely LOVED the first episode of Walking Dead. Second episode... not so much. 5 minutes in we already had a sex scene & a mini-race war. It felt like a completely different show.

I never really payed attention to it, but now that you mention it I believe they do. Also, I thought the first episode of The Walking Dead was pretty spectacular. The second episode, not so great. I wanted to see more of the black father and son, but they were left out of the episode completely, and I was disappointed.

So I tune into South Park for the first time this season last night to catch the rerun.
Um, what the fuck is going on!?!?

I wanted to see more of the black father and son, but they were left out of the episode completely, and I was disappointed. Agree completely. The second episode was a huge drop in quality from the pilot. The writing is terribly contrived (the black woman just happens to have a solution for how to get into the sewers once the problem arises) and the influx of new characters is extremely detrimental to the quiet, human element that we saw in the pilot. Zombie fodder or not, the screen is just too crowded to take a vested interest in anyone. There's literally nothing to them other than "the Black one, the Mexican one, the smart Asian one, the racist one...". It's awful to have to describe characters solely by their ethnicities, but there's literally no other way to distinguish them. And the racist character was deplorable to the point of comedy - give him a bowler hat and a long black mustache while you're at it, he couldn't be more evil. And some of the dialogue... Christ... "If bad ideas were an Olympic event, this one would take the gold!" How does that make television?
