A stray cat that myself and my family have been taking care of since she was born passed away today. 2 pit bulls attacked her and our neighbor found her and told us. We tried to save her, but the injuries she sustained were too much for her. Even though she was a stray, we loved her just like she was a member of our family. She left behind 2 little kittens (one looks just like her). We were in the process of finding her a home barely a week ago. I had just fed her this morning too, and she ate with her babies which just makes me that much sadder. I don't know what else to say. I love you Cheesy. You filled my family and my lives so much in your time here. I promise to find your kittens & brothers and sisters a home. Man that's really sad to hear. That's what I fear every time I'm getting a pet. The last time I lost a pet of mine I was a kid but it took a long time for me to get over it. On a level I'd have to agree with beej because it took me more time to get over that than getting over my grandparents passing. At least she left you with 2 new family members, always gotta think of the positives. Makes me hate pitbulls. Wish you the best tho.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pitbulls. It's all about how you raise them. I've had a few and they were all very friendly and got along with all other animals.
I'm really sorry to hear that though man. I've lost a few pets so I feel your pain. Some people might say "dude its just a pet" but fuck them. Animals are living, breathing creatures and with the proper love and care they instantly become a member of the family. They hold just as much sentimental value as a human being. I hope for the best for you buddy. Never let the memories go.

Man, I'm really sorry about your loss, losing a loved one is always rough. Animals are innocent souls and with that in mind, rest assured she's found peace. Love her children like she would've man.
And Bless, you're absolutely right. Anything you give/teach to any living being (bar humans, because we're shit) you will get tenfold, the good things, but the bad as well. Love animals and respect animals, and you'll become friends for life.

Thank you Beej. Thank you SWL. You're exactly right, she did leave me with 2 new members of my big family (She also has a mom that we take care of and 3 brothers that are with us also and taking care of). I gotta get a pic of her son. He looks EXACTLY like her. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pit bulls. It's all about how you raise them. I was attacked by a pit bull a couple of years ago and never did I blame the dog in what happened. I always felt it was a reflection of the owners and their negligence towards their pets. I know for a fact that pit bulls and any other animal are born into our world with love in their hearts and nothing will ever change that mindset for me. I know she is looking down on us and will always look out for her mom, brothers, and her kids. Thank you for the kind words, my brother. I was crying for a good portion of yesterday. I couldn't even speak before I started breaking down. I woke up today after a good night's sleep and went outside and saw all of them running around and playing and it made me feel good. I knew right then and there that everything was going to be okay. I told my parents that I want to volunteer at our local cat shelter and find those cats homes that they also deserve. As soon as I find a dog shelter, I'm going to donate my time there as well because they deserve homes as well. I'm always going to remember Cheesy as a mom. She was always with her kids and her mom. Taking care of them and being there for everyone. I will let my last memory of her be that of her last day here on earth, it will be her laying down with her kids. Seeing her brothers playing and her mom watching over all of them.

Been hearing about this for the last few days. It's known fact that most people at TAM did not like Bang, multiple fighters in the past (including tj) have went on and said how he always says dumb shit. He also explained what he meant in an interview with Helwani. :\

Thanks guys. I'm thinking and hoping it happens mid 2016. I'm trying to save some money and doing some research, because at the time I only have a tourist visa so I have to fix that, and also how expensive it is over there and stuff. Any particular info I should check out?

Any particular info I should check out? It's not too expensive but if you're trying to get a place in say San Francisco that's when it becomes a battle not worth fighting. I know people who say the rent is like $3K/mo. That's insane. I don't know where you can check out info but I'll definitely look and get back to you on that.
