Just send a text. The mote you think about it the stranger it will feel. And honestly, you could even say "Oh i thought i was texting a different (insert name here)" Another way around it is to say something like it's intended for a different person. Idk. Unless you intend to make something out of it, those two ways could be somewhat icebreakers. I would text as well. At the very least, you'll get your answer and you won't have to keep thinking about it. For example, I recently emailed [REDACTED] since she found a new job in another town. Up to that point, I hadn't seen nor talked to her in 5 months. A lot of that was for my own sanity. I told her in the email the usual stuff like "Hey. How's it going?" and "Hope you are doing well in her new surroundings" .... and I got a reply that wasn't as thoughtful. You know how a friend will usually reply back "Oh thanks for the kind words. I am doing great! How are you doing?" You know, after not talking for 5+ months? Didn't get that. Suffice to say, I was really angry and hurt by that. To have such disregard to someone who was there when no one (literally no one) was there to talk to her and ask how she was doing? That really sucked. But, it took that incident to make me finally realize that we were never meant to be...well anything. And I'm happy for that because now I'm doing projects and getting into new opportunities that I have been putting off for a really long time and i (and this is cliché to say) couldn't be happier. In short: text. Just do it! |

So some sad news. This past weekend 2 girls committed suicide, one did it Friday with a gun and the other girl was best friends with the first girl and got so depressed that last night she walked in front of a moving train and you can guess what happened. It was the weirdest yet saddest day I have seen at my school. I use to talk to the first girl awhile back. Very depressing and when this happends so close to you, you realize that suicide is not something to joke about. It fucking blows.
