That was fun. Marking out for Santino, Del Rio, and Morrison's Parkour skillz.

Went from awesome to mediocre when Punk was eliminated.

Went from awesome to mediocre when Punk was eliminated. Agreed, but it went back to awesome for a moment when Santino almost won it.

I SO wanted Santino to win! I knew it couldn't happen, but the moment he rolled under the ropes, I was hoping. I was texting my brother and I told him about Santino and I jokingly said, "I hope he just stays out of the ring until everyone is eliminated and wins it." Well, he came close.
Del Rio winning was pretty surprising but also pretty cool. I'm pumped to go see WrestleMania in Atlanta.

As much as I was expecting Nash, I wasn't expecting Booker T.

i thinks it still awesome that we can say santino marella is the runner up in the 2011 royal rumble, on another note that stream made my chat lag so much it kept freezing which is why I kept leaving

But, it must've been just me. I should've used the second one from the beginning. It was quite a bit ahead and had extremely good video (Borderline HD). The only problem was the audio. EDIT: By the way, Punk trolling Orton marks = Win.

I thought the match was okay, but it peaked wayyyy too early. There was wonderful storytelling during the long stretch with Nexus as it created tremendous suspense while everyone waited for a John Cena or Triple H. Then... we had Hornswoggle and Cena, a hardly mobile Kevin Nash, and the all to familiar battle royal scene of a bunch of guys leaning on each other in the ropes (which is obviously expected in a Royal Rumble, but it could have been paced better - here, they just threw the bigger names in during the last half of the match and so none of the numbers really mattered).
Thoughts on the Wrestlemania card after last night's show?
John Cena vs. The Miz Edge vs. Alberto del Rio CM Punk vs. Randy Orton The Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes Triple H vs. Sheamus Nexus vs. Corre
It would appear at the moment that The Miz is in the main event of Wrestlemania. I think it's very possible that both champions retain at the Elimination Chamber, although that hasn't been the case in recent years. Cena vs. Miz makes the most sense, and I don't know what other top babyface could take on del Rio.

^ Those matches seem what their building too after watching the Rumble show. Not a stellar card for Mania by any means.
The Rumble show as a whole was really fun. The first match with Edge/Ziggler was a really fun match, even though it was sort of predictable. I didn't watch a good stretch of the show but what I saw was good. The Rumble itself was really good I felt, a lot better than the one two years ago. I sort of felt disappointed that both Orton and Ziggler got spots in it only because I was really pumped to see who else could be a surprise entrant after Booker and Nash. The ending was gold.

The Miz and Cena has a lot of potential to have a great buildup. I have a feeling they'll even do some stuff outside of WWE tv, stuff on late night and such.
btw, with Nash and Booker getting called up by WWE do any of you feel that Sting could be called up for a match with Taker at Mania? Seems logical since Mania is in Atlanta and all, plus its a dream match for many people.
