Andy sounded god awful on Raw. Luke's going to be the bigger star, I guaran-damn-tee it. I agree, but Luke won't be a bigger star cause he's any good... he'll be a bigger star cause he's a generic cocky pretty boy heel. Even though I despised Tough Enough this season (only liked when Stone Cold would promo-rape the bottom 3), I really enjoyed the way they integrated the finale into RAW. It's just a shame they killed the momentum of the TE finale/RAW opening with a Santino match & then a divas match. Punk vs Rey was great again this week & the rest of RAW was pretty solid as well.

What did you despise about Tough Enough?
I thought it was a good, sometimes even great show. Sure, it could have definitely lost the challenges that, not only had little to do with wrestling, but ultimately never seemed to effect the coach decisions (AJ's success in the promo competition and his subsequent elimination being the most obvious example), but I thought that they got over a lot of personalities very well and created genuine suspense in the elimination segments. That being said, I don't think that any of the cast members have much of a future with the company, but as a self-contained reality show, I thought it was significantly more entertaining than anything WWE has done this year.
On a podcast I listen to - the Slate Culture Gabfest (which couldn't have less to do with wrestling) - one of the hosts on a recent episode sung praises for the show despite having never watched the WWE. In particular, she singled out the effectiveness Stone Cold as the host, and said that the show did a great job at demonstrating just how much it takes to be involved with a business that couldn't be less respected in the eyes of the adult public.

I really enjoyed Tough Enough, it was the only wrestling show I made sure to watch. The finale was pretty meh, the music video they made of their matches with Bill DeMott was cool. It's a shame they will probably not have a second season. I only watched the first half of Raw and was somewhat entertained. The Raw/Tough Enough deal was good except for them killing any momentum Andy had with the slap and Stunner. R-Truth as a confederate soldier was awesome, can't really remember anything else from Raw.

I hated the challenges where they had to go out in public & roller skate & cheerlead & ride a tour bus etc. Aside from M-Dogg 20, I didn't care about any of the cast members (started to get behind Martin, but that didn't last long). Eliminations were based on nothing but favoritism (Matt Cross is sent home in week 2 while Miss USA & afro big man last for what seems like an eternity). "Training" consisted of them being told to do the same sequence of moves the entire season, with no explaination to viewers at home... why should the average person care about a million leapfrogs & headlock takeovers. We'd get guest spots where wrestlers would come in & give advice that ultimately had nothing to do with how the competition was going. Like you mentioned, the challenges had almost no bearing on eliminations. We didn't even get to see any actual wrestling. It was all generic reality show fluff. It almost couldn't have had less to do with what it takes to be a pro wrestler. Without Stone Cold, it would've been unwatchable.

Ehh, some of the stuff on the show didn't really make sense but I thought all of the personalities on the show made it entertaining.

The show was up and down for me. Stone Cold and my interest in seeing what type of training goes on sparked my entertainment in the show. I did however find the contestants to be pretty dull, aside from Rima and AJ (after his promo). Hoping that if they do another season, they find people worth giving a shit about.

I hated AJ, really didn't like him. Personalities like Jeremiah, Skidmarks, Eric, and the trainers kept me entertained. I especially though Jeremiah was someone people could really get behind.

By the sounds of it WWE is getting watchable?

By the sounds of it WWE is getting watchable? They've been testing the limits of the TV-PG rating recently, but aside from that, it's pretty much the same as it's been for the past few years.

EDIT: I just noticed this, but am I the only one who gets excited when I hear Vince's music playing? I mean, now that it's a not-so-often thing, I just find it awesome when his music plays, because it shows something important's about to happen (Or at least I think so).

I can't get behind ANYBODY right now, I've given up on them giving Bourne a fair shot at ANYTHING, Daniel Bryan is practically enhancement accesory for Sin Cara (whom I despise) right now. Punk seems to be on a limbo, a never ending limbo, and all we get is John Cena and Randy Orton as champions YET AGAIN. Man, R Truth please win the title..

WWE needs to quit dicking around and push their wrestlers.
If Cena or Orton get injured, they're fucked for Main Eventers. Christian's pretty much there, but that's about it. R-Truth's angry, crazy black man gimmick is weird to me, but it's DEFINITELY a step-up from his old gimmick (If he even had one). Still not a fan of his mic skills, though. Rhodes, DiBiase, McIntyre, Del Rio, Ziggler, and others are right there and waiting for a push to the next level.
Edge is gone. Punk's [apparently] getting burnt out (And even if not, they're wasting his time by putting him in a stable). Mysterio's [apparently] getting pissed backstage. Taker's already at his retiring stage (I guess his character died...?). HHH is pretty much only working backstage now. I mean, they're running out of guys.

WWE always goes through these stages where they get too comfortable with a small set of top guys. It'll probably take Cena or Orton getting injured to shake them out of it & really start elevating other guys. I'm just surprised losing the likes of HBK, HHH, Taker, Jericho, & Edge in the past year didn't motivate them to create some more top talent.

What I really don't get is this, they've had Punk carry a brand, and IT WORKED! They let Mysterio have the title and, IT WORKED (to a lesser extent but it did). Even Kane had the title and had some interesting shit happen (with Taker no less).
Then there's the Miz, in his whole title reign they only let him feud with fucking Cena and/or Orton. Like what? There's no other babyface in the company? It's not like Randy Orton's elevating Smackdown as the champ, in fact I think ratings are dropping, and that because they refused to have faith in Christian (who is insanely over and can work with ANYONE) to carry the brand in the place of Edge.
R Truth's crazy man gimmick works for me, his paranoia and conspiracy theory remind a little of Eric Young's old gimmick, but it works! It's new and fresh to WWE, and it would be great to see what he can do with the belt.
And then we get to Alberto Del Rio, my pick for this year to hold the belt for the longest time, he was at least. I get they want Cena to keep the belt until the Rock match, but wouldn't it be great if Alberto took it? Maybe even due to Rock interference? I mean, pretty much anyone loves to see Cena lose these days.

I will mark so hard for Truth winning the belt.
