The Witcher 2 delayed to 'Q1 2012' for Xbox 360CD Projekt RED announced earlier today that the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be arriving in the first quarter for 2012. The developers stated in the press release that the extra time will allow them to improve the game and resolve the legal dispute with Namco Bandai in which it's currently ongoing. A patch for the game will be released in fall or winter, for free. Producer Yoshinoro Ono says that the new game would be location tested in Japan this summer. Sony buys 'inFamous' developer Sucker Punch ProductionsSony announced today they would be acquiring the 10 year Playstation exclusive developer Sucker Punch, who has provided owners such classic franchises as Sly Cooper & inFamous. Sucker Punch Managing Partner Brian Fleming says "the relationship with SCE has provided us the flexibility and trust to take creative risks and invent new properties." As for the next Sucker Punch project, not much is known about it. But, with the recent acquisition of former Halo designer Jaime Griesemer, that may shed some light into what the project could shape out to be. Source: Joystiq Image: True Game HeadzSony details how PS3 and Vita will interactSony R&D manager Phil Rogers outlined some of the possible interactions the PlayStation Vita & the PS3 could have recently at the Develop Conference. We all know that both will be able to share saves through compatible titles, and also share interoperable games such as the upcoming Wipeout 2048, but Rogers says that there are some capabilities that some have not seen before. "[The] PS3 can send data down to Vita and Vita can display it." He says. "You could use the unique features of the Vita such as gyroscope, touch front and back - as a control device for a PS3 game." When the Vita launches this Fall, it will have some of the cross-platform features which includes scoreboards & PSN user data. "For launch we'll also have Remote Play, which does look good on Vita - I saw an early version of it running recently." For those who don't own a PSP, Remote Play allows video of compatible titles to be streamed from the PS3 for play on the PSP. Continuation Play, which a game can be saved on one platform and played on the other, will also be available. The only known game to use that feature is Ruin. Siliconera found an European listing for "Rally-X Rumble" which was filed late last month.
