WWE- 3.4 TNA- 1.5
Highest rated Impact! in history, with the Hogan segment at 9 o'clock drawing the biggest rating.
The Impact! rating isn't all that high...but it does look like they took a chunk of Raw's rating. Raw drew awfully low for a Bret Hart return...

I'm pretty shocked by both ratings - I was sure TNA would be lower and WWE would be higher.
I wonder how much of TNA's success can be attributed to Twitter, of all things. The Jeff Hardy debut didn't hurt matters at all, but i'm surprised that they were able to maintain viewers for the following two hours.
The question, however, is how many of the people will tune in again. The show last night was entirely nostalgia porn for wrestling fans. It was cute to see Bischoff, Hall, Nash, Waltman, and Hogan in the ring once again... but do people really want to see them on a weekly basis? Personally, as someone who watched a full episode of Impact for the first time in several years (probably since the FSN days, actually), there was nothing about the show that would make me want to tune in again.

Apparently Spike was looking at anything above a 1.0 as good enough to make the permanent move to Mondays, so expect the Monday Night Wars to be the big thing in 2010.

Many people have been complaining at how RAW's ratings were better then TNA's. But, honestly I don't agree with them because WWE is a HUGE company and has been going on for many years. Props to TNA for getting a semi good rating.

We could still be a good year off of any real type of competition, and that's a big "if"...TNA really has to step up their product in every way- advertising, marketing, creatively, as well as the in-ring product. Hall, Nash, Hogan, and Sting isn't going to do it.
That being said, I hope they do! I'd love TNA to go back to the "glory days" of the X-Division and have another real alternative to WWE.

Plenty of people were relatively disappointed by the presentation of Impact from two days ago, mainly because of overtly long promos (though Hogan's promo was relatively good), short matches excluding the main event, and the whole NWO tease at the show's ending. Personally, I hope the front office doesn't repeat similar mistakes that WCW had made and really re-establish the formula that had made them prominent in the first place.

I Posted this somewhere else and it basically sums up my feeling on Monday nights going downs.
I hope TNA go on Monday Nights permanently tbh. I think they will at least be able to maintain there rating going up against RAW. And who knows, as time goes on, eventually, people will start flicking and their rating will increase, as will awareness about their company and it will lead to both companies raising their game and putting out a better product. In this situation no matter who wins the ratings, the fans will win.
I watch both products (they are on the same network here in Australia) and in recent time and going into the future, TNA has me more interested in their product than the WWE. Ever since WWE started with the Guest Host gimmick, Raw has gotten really dull and boring, this past week in particular. The show just came off real flat and boring. Apart form the Hart stuff, the show really didn't do much for me personally, where as Impact was one surprise after the next.
Now, obviously, Impact is not going to be like this every week. But with the addition of Hogan and the whole NWO- rehash angle, combined with the pure talent of the TNA roster, their shows, to me at least, look like their going to be the most entertaining.
And if we are choosing sides itt, I'm picking TNA.

TNA needs to go 8-10, because they have a better chance of success that way. They can have a strong unopposed first hour so that even if they lose half their viewers when RAW comes on, they still maintain a healthy average.
