This was the video that I was originally making a year ago to face off against Paroxysm before going with a weirder option in my Takashi Miike video. I got sick of this sitting around on my desktop and decided to finally finish it. It's probably considered a very "beej" video, but I hope you all like it just the same. Really, it's an excuse to stare at gorgeous technicolor for a few minutes. Enjoy!

Oh, I remember hearing about this! Great to see it finally get finished. You are correct in your assessment that it is "very beej" but that's what we love about you! I will always believe that the most beej videos are the best beej videos.
Such a fun little video celebrating the most magical of all big screen formats. You managed to highlight so many great shots from some of the most significant technicolor movies ever. You could always complain about some titles getting forgotten/passed over, but that's inevitable with this kind of video--the history is too vast to squeeze in everything. Love how you chose to group shots from musical sequences and animated movies together for both of the choruses--those genres were just perfect for technicolor. More linear wipes in future edits!
I can see why you would hesitate to use this in a competition, since it's not really the kind of video that wows people with technical editing prowess. But it is the kind of video that I could see going viral across online cinephile circles if it somehow got the right eyes on it.
