I just need a few tips on few editing techniques.
First of all; where would I go to find sound effects the likes of which are used in WWE video packages? You know the types, a loud boom or crash as someone hits the mat or something. I just need them for the intro to a vid I'm doing?
And secondly; In sony vegas, how do I do a freeze frame effect? As in; just freeze on a single frame and drag it?
Just some little things I need for a new project.
Thanks in advance guys.

Above the video preview box there's a little floppy disk. Click it and it should take a picture what's currently on the preview box. I can't really help you on the sound effects part since I don't know either

There's probably a website that has a bunch of sound effects you're allowed to use for free.

I always just google for free sound effects if I'm ever looking for one.

More useful way to do the freeze frame without taking a snapshot is by using velocity. right click on your clip, go to insert/remove envelope, and then click velocity. That can change your speed effectively and also freeze frame a certain spot by key-framing, just by setting it to 0. Here's a video tutorial to get a better understanding.
Sound FX are pretty important if you want to start using them. Most free ones sound to generic and hurt your video more than help alot of times. I purchased most of my newer sound FX, but if you want a base set of solid ones, Video Copilot have a pretty good set named "Designer Sound FX". Have to buy them, but it's pretty easy to find these days. Hope it helped you some.
