I'm surprised this hasn't made it's way to MVZ 3.0 yet. Basically, talk about any upcoming concert or concert you just saw. Gonna be buying tickets this Friday to see Say Anything, Motion City Soundtrack, and Saves The Day on November 16th at the Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (About an hour away). Should be loads of fun, especially since The Rev is a great place for bands. The only Rock Club left standing in South Florida.

I'm hoping to see Roger Waters presents The Wall in late November/early December at the Staples Center. Since this is more than likely my only chance hearing the album live with a founding member of Pink Floyd playing it, and isn't a cover band, I gotta make every effort to see it.

I will be seeing John Mayer on Friday.
And, I just recently saw Conan O'Brien when he was doing his "Legally Prohibited" tour. It was fantastic beyond words.

If so get ready to experience some awesome music. And I might be seeing Rookie of the Year next Saturday or Sunday, not sure if I want to drive north or south for it.

Done as much as possible in the last year or so. Been to AFI, Bloc Party, Reel Big Fish, Deep Purple, Rage Against The Machine, Foreigner and Europe (twice).
Haven't got much planned coming up, other than Europe again in January. See what comes up in Birmingham I guess.

Going to see It Prevails on Tuesday. Also recently bought tickets for Architects, Bury Tomorrow/Shadows Chasing Ghosts and Asking Alexandria. Plan to go see Enter Shikari aswell. Unfortunately they're supporting 30 Seconds to Mars. I'll most likely be leaving after Shikari's set then, haha.

Revival again?
Well I never got to see Fozzy, but after the awesome Foreigner/Europe double header at the iTunes festival last summer, this year myself and the gf have tickets to a Journey/Styx/Foreigner triple bill.
Fuck. Yer.

I guess this counts as a concert... but it's not music...
I'll be seeing Bill Cosby in June.
(Also, my brother and I will be at Wrestlemania)

I was supposed to see Girl Talk this Friday, but tickets sold out, even though my friends bought tickets two days before I tried. I'm pissed.
Instead I'm now seeing We Came as Romans, For Today, The Word Alive, Woe is Me, and Texas in July, on Saturday.

So a while back, it was announced that My Chemical Romance was playing down here in May. After debating whether or not it was worth the 50 dollar price, I ultimately backed out.
Then I learned that Circa Survive was the supporting act, and immediately went to buy my tickets, only to discover they had sold out before Circa was ever brought on.
But lead singer Anthony Green being the awesome guy that he is, is doing a solo show over here in March t make up for fans who will miss the May show. What an awesome dude.

This past weekend I saw We Came as Romans, For Today, The World Alive, Woe is Me, and Texas in July. This was at The Hat Factory (Formally Toads Place) in Richmond, VA. This show was completely packed, there's no way it didn't sell out, with the lines of people still trying to get tickets after the show started, and was already packed.
Texas in July was really good, and was probably the 2nd best band of the night.
Woe is Me was ok, but nothing really that good. They did play some decent dubstep tracks between songs, and I enjoyed the change of pace of the show. However, it really seemed like I was the only who noticed, and at the point they didn't have any good drops. I probably won't go out of my way to listen to this band again.
The World Alive had a fill in singer for this show, maybe the whole tour, and he did a really good job. Their tone wasn't that great, but they still put on an energetic show, and the crowd went nuts for them. I went mainly for them, and I was satisfied.
For Today killed it. This band put on one hell of a show that had the entire place just going completely insane, not to mention they still had the crowd in the palm of their hands. This may be the sickest hardcore show I've seen. Seriously you need to check this band out live. I will definitely try to catch them again.
We Came as Romans was just weak. They had the problem of following For Today, and the fact that I was legit on the fence of passing out. They probably still did better than Woe is Me, but I couldn't care about their set at all. They left the stage, and there was no guessing if they'd do an encore, as they started the build to it right away. I didn't care I went to find some water, and some fresh air.
