I keep having this problem with my videos. When I render my videos certain scenes are missing. It seems completely arbitrary. They'll be clips from a file that I used elsewhere in the video, and the other one is still there, they're usually on the same track, I just cannot figure out why it keeps happening.
Any effects or boarders on the clip will still be there, it's just the clip itself is missing.
I was able to get all the clips rendered if I picked some ridiculously low template for the video that basically made it watchable but If I want the video in better quality half the scenes disappear. I have absolutely no idea what is causing this.
Someone help please!!

Sorry to keep asking, because I guess this is a tough one but here's an example of the problem. This is a low-res preview of my next video;
The black strobes between scenes are intended, but the extended moments of black are not. I did have scenes in there but they simply did not render properly and disappeared. They were taken from the same video, and were put on the same track. I have no idea why the clips that are missing didn't work.

By any chance did you use some speed changes on the clips? If so, press alt+enter then change the pixel format from 8 bit to 32 bit floating point.
