Somebody tell me if I should go see "Thor: Ragnarok" this weekend. I want an honest opinion from somebody who has seen the movie, and is familiar my general apathy toward the Marvel franchise. I know people are calling it a refreshing change of pace for Marvel. But it seems like people say the same thing about every new superhero movie these days. And they all end up being pretty much the same. So I'm hesitant to believe the hype. Honestly, the only reason I'm even considering this one is because Jeff Goldblum's in it. I think you’ll appreciate it. It’s a Marvel movie, but it is different enough to give it a chance. Especially if you like Taika Waititi. And Goldblum is hilariously awesome in it. It has a fun 80s synth, colorful aesthetic to it. It’s definitely more Guardians of the Galaxy than it is the prior Thor movies.

It's super funny (up there with GotG vol. 1), colorful, & doesn't take itself too seriously. It's just plain fun. Goldblum is hilarious. Blanchett is great, even if she only bookends the movie. Thor & Hulk are hilarious together. And Tessa Thompson is amazing. It may not blow you away, but it's a movie you'll definitely be happy you saw.

This is a bit of a bummer. Some of the most well thought, insightful videos online.

This is a bit of a bummer. Some of the most well thought, insightful videos online. Yeah, that really is disappointing. They were the best in the genre that I was aware of.

Perhaps my favorite thing I’ve ever found on the internet.

Can we stop with the little trailers to hype movie trailers fad? Who started this? When did it start? Why are we allowing it to continue?

Cause it's a money grab, I guess? I hate it too.

It's not like they're making money off a 15 second teaser for a trailer. I think it's a just a tactic to keep people in a perpetual state of hype in this age where everything is an event.

Get hype! A trailer for a trailer for a movie that never needed to be made in the first place!

Youtube revenue would get them some money in their pockets, wouldn't it? I didn't even think of that, but wouldn't that amount to chump change for a big studio? And what about when they put those teasers out on twitter or facebook?
