MVZone is a great forum and it has the best editors World Wide Web.However it is unactive. It's not staff's fault.Staff makes an excellent job however we only have 200 members and not even the half of them are active.Well i think it's time to do something.Somehow we should find the way to promote this forum.Screw the other foums.Let's make MVZone the best editing comunity. But how?Any ideas on how we can promote the forum?

I think the site has been promoted through youtube and radio shows and nothing has really come of it. I don't think any more promotion is going to to make things any different. Plus The MV Zone has sort of put editing on the backburner so I don't feel this needs to become an editing community. What I do want to see is more activity on the main page because its really just a big waste of money if no one uses it. The main page should have more than just videos it should have movie reviews, game reviews, wrestling news, mma news, and lots of different things. Just my thoughts though.

Screw the other foums.Let's make MVZone the best editing comunity. Totally earned bonus points from me for saying that. Mass promoting the site again wouldn't hurt. This time though, we should target other different places. With how big Movie MV's have gotten, lets try getting our names out to film sites. Same with UFC sites, as well as sports and other stuff. Send messages to talented youtube artists and send em a link to a site. We are the Music Video Zone, so why just limit our focus on wrestling mv's. Our wrestling comps are infrequent, with basically 4 shows a year. We could counter that by having a strictly Movie Comp in between those shows, if we can get enough people. Even a UFC comp too, if enough people. If anyone's interested, we can assemble a street team to handle all the promoting. Get a couple MVZ Hype mv's made and send em out to whoever. I also want to see newer discussions. Only a few threads seem to be the most active. If you got a thread idea, fuck it, go ahead and post it. Also like MVMafia's idea of utilizing the main page. If anyone wants to post on the main page, let me know and I'll make you an account to post on.

I always try to slap the MVZ logo/opening on every mma video I make, but I guess people just overlook that. Probably should add a link to it as well. But yeah, I think MMA/Movie MVs are the way to go for this, you can get a ton of views with a mma video these days, I just don't see similiar platform/opportunity with wrestling videos right now. MMA fans and sites are really into MVs (and most of them aren't that good ). I think we should tackle a project[mma] or even project[fighting] sometime down the line (obv. right now isn't a particularly good time), maybe try to get some well-known outsiders on it (some of these people have a legit cult following it seems) and promote the hell out of it.

Project MMA is sure to get tons of views. We have 5 MEP's in progress right now, so this should defintely be one of the next ones we do after the current ones get finished.

AMV-making is huge on YouTube. I'm subscribed to a lot of AMV makers, and there's still plenty more. The only problems are the risks involved, as I've seen a lot of AMV channels get shut down. Personally, I think AMVs are the biggest music videos (in quantity) on YouTube.

Heh, we could make a project[anime] too for all I care, as long as I get to do Monster I think the problem there is there are really no amv makers on here, so what's the point of possibly attracting some amv makers to this place? They probably wouldn't find any other AMV content and leave again.

They probably wouldn't find any other AMV content and leave again. I make AMVs (Or at least I attempt to). Honestly, I much prefer them over MMVs and WMVs. They just seem a lot easier to edit, and enjoyable. Mainly because EVERYONE has an anime that they like. Also, not only are AMVs huge on YouTube, but I've seen quite a bit of AMV-dedicated/hosting sites and forums, a hell of a lot more than other music video genres. Besides that, imagine the amount of sites and forums dedicated to JUST anime, instead of just AMVs. Instead of just hosting WMVs and MMVs, we should branch out to each genre, so we'll have something that attracts everyone. I've tried working on AMVs, but I'm not too good at it, or at least not as good as most I've seen. Here's some channels as an example: www.youtube.com/user/iBestAMVsOfAllTime (Which has my all-time favorite AMV) www.youtube.com/user/Credibility33www.youtube.com/user/mentalprodigy
