So not really a question about editing or anything like that, but I'm trying to burn all of the Ricky Django episodes to DVD, but every time I do that it comes out in Divx format (I'm not burning using Divx btw). I even converted all the files to ISO and still it will only play on Divx DVD players.
I'm just looking to burn my dvds to be playable on any dvd player, so if anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

When I make DVDs, I convert the files to DVD (.VOB) files first using WinAVI, then I burn the DVD using imgBurn. You can find keygens for WinAVI through simple google searches, and imgburn is free to download.

So I'm using Shout Factory to convert everything to .vob but the files are like 7 or 8gb. I can't use DVDShrink because you have to set it in chapters in order for it to work.
Do I have to lower the quality for the .vob for it to fit on a DVD? This seems to be the only thing that is holding me back to burn them.

Sounds like you have it set to burn onto a DL DVD-R (DVD9), when you're hoping to burn onto a regular DVD-R (DVD5).

Is this through IMGBurn?

No, you can't shrink the files in imgburn, you have to make sure they're limited to 4.7GB when you're formatting them for DVD.

I just finally got what you meant. The problem was it was converting as one GIGANTIC file, when I needed the Video_TS and Audio_Ts to burn them. At least I think.
My family and friends want these DVDs (with good reason) so I've been racking my head on this for awhile. And I think I finally got it.
