Hey guys, I've never been able to figure out how to do decent text. Turns out I know very little and just stick to the few things I've figured out (putting clips together, the old Magic Bullet) I've been content with a few texts I've done (eg in the Chael video), but everybody always hates them. Teach me! Anybody got any decent tutorial or something on the matter? I probably have some time on my hands next week for this. Cheers!

dafont.com can be your best friend. Really, just play around it. Test out scaling, leading, tracking, colors, everything. Test out transitions and pan/zooming. Even throw on some FX. Just be creative and have fun with it, and it'll start working out for you.
