Okay, I caved. I'll pay the remaining ten. Frankly, i'm pretty stunned that we made it this far. Thank you, again, to everyone who was generous enough to donate. Hopefully somebody will be kind enough to cover the domain costs once April rolls around.
If you have anything on the server, make sure you grab it before next week. I'm not sure whether or not the current server will go down once the new one is bought, but I wouldn't risk holding out until the last minute.

Can someone post my oldest videos on that server? Sans "Open the Gates of Hell", I don't have those videos on my hard drive anymore. That should include my horrible TNA in 2008 and Sasuke vs. Pegasus MVs.

We're still accepting donations, which would go to future costs and advertising fees.  Also, the server is currently down in case anyone tried downloading and got an unavailable message. All download links will be available on... JULY 14. Hopefully. |

I still haven't used my B&V shout out, so I will do so once the site is running smoothly. I intend to use We Can Overcome to help draw people in by using screenshots of Bryan from that video on the main page.
We purchased the server last night and i'm currently uploading everything to HostGator. At this rate, it's unlikely that all of the links will be ready by Thursday, but i'll continue to look into faster ways of transferring. While the site WILL launch on Thursday with the latest competition, it may take a few days to catch up with all of the links that we need to add to the archives.
There were 1200+ files within the videos folder on the old server. A handful of those are audio files and screenshots, but i'd guess that we have somewhere around 1000 videos hosted. We've made entries for just under 500 of them thus far, so there is still a long way to go. Most of the staples are out of the way, though - the biggest archives we've ever assembled for myself, Jack Jeckel, AusDragon21, SansJason, Shocker333, PNB, Matt Daniels, th3rd, ltownbob, AwesomeDude, and many more.

I put the button back up temporarily.
I'm not sure how much it would cost to advertise on The Art of Wrestling or any other podcasts, and i'm not willing to donate any more at the moment as I donated more than I had wanted to for the server costs.

Thank you so much, guys. I will keep some of this for myself - I had donated more than I had intended to, assuming that the well of generosity had dried up - and the remainder of it will both restore our domain next April and also go towards advertising costs.
We will not have to beg for money until the summer of 2013. Assuming that the world hasn't ended.
Unfortunately, my power was out all day, meaning that I lost a LOT of time in the process of transferring videos to the new server. We're still going to launch on Thursday as scheduled, but a lot of links in the archives won't be active until the weekend.

Also good idea on the "We can overcome" video, has Bryan ever seen that? I'm sure he'd get a kick out of it. Get it on YT with a MVZ plug at the end and a link to the site. |
