Your first video?
With the next Picture Show being about first videos, why not open up this week's question with the same topic? Take a trip down memory lane, and tell us about your first video. How did you come up with the topic, song(s), style, etc? Share with us your feelings going into the video, and opinions of it now? Anything about your first video, we want to know!

Puroresu #1 (June 2002) - I'd prefer not to post it LOL... but it did spawn a HUGE series that went all the way up to #24 I think. The music that it was set to definitely escapes my mind but I know it was around 5:00 long. There was no syncing at all, unless I somehow got lucky (no detailed audio track bar). It really got me into editing. I was using Ulead Video Studio, and when I started to hate that, I switched to Adobe Premiere (which I also hated!) By the time Puro 14 and the cruiser series of 16 started up I started using Vegas and never looked back. I still use FCP from time to time if I'm stuck using a mac.

Oh dear lord..... my first video featured 12 Stones "I Hate the Way I Feel" and was a WWE video with some CZW clips mixed in! THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE!!! My very first video had a couple M-Dogg20 CZW clips . It was pretty bad but had a little syncing on it, not much but wasn't completely off. I still have the video but NO USE in uploading that trash lol. I just know the quality is so garbage haha, it was mainly things I downloaded from Kazaa or whatever that program was back in the day. I used the world famous Windows Movie Maker to piece it all together . This video has NEVER been released btw, my second video was used for Videomania II and most people know that to be my first ever video (the Elimination Chamber one). It was fun and gave me a great thing to improve on lol. As for the year..... who knows maybe 2001? Whenever that WWE MV of Creed's "Sacrifice" started showing. That is what got me into MV's in the first place! Good times.

well here is my first full vid I remember seeing yt being full of heavy rock orton vids, emotional jeff hardy vids and happy hbk vids I had just watched the hbk Doc (on yt ) and thought his wwe title reign in the mid 90's was interesting and I decided to make a video I really didnt know what I was doing and alot of my "lyric syncs" were so stupid like "its never leaving" has shawn walking out a door and "I can hear you counting" shows vince mcmahon (at the time I thought vince was waiting for hbk to screw up so he could take the title off of him ) didnt really spend much time on this one but my first big mv project that I spent time on was probably honestly I dont remember much about making it I mainly remember trying to use only 2009 live footage but as you can see I started using promos later on in the vid this is really my first vid I was proud of and it did get good feedback Im still considering remaking it for fun Great topic revvey

My first video was a freestyle set to "Pressure" by Lupe Fiasco, which features segments from MVZ videos, the now forgotten "Wrestling on Sunshine" MV, and Sabu's leg drop onto Cena from RAW.
It's pretty awesome.

I listened to some good ol' 19th century classical music and suddenly I realised "I have to make a MV to this!"
But seriously, I have absolutely no idea why and how it came about. I've been a member of the mvz since probably 06 and lost interest in 08 maybe, I watched all the videos, was pretty active on the board, but I never for a second wanted to do a MV myself. And suddenly here I am, more than a year later, doing a shoot-style MV to a song composed by a guy who died 85 years before I was born. It's a total mystery to me.

My first video was a Undertaker vs Edge feud video. Like many other people's videos it was not good. My clips were all taken from youtube and there was really little to no sync.

I do believe my very first MV was the very first Ultimate X match Shane vs Sabin vs Kazarian set to Frontline by Pillar.
Needless to say, I'm glad I won't be seeing that one every again.
