Last month was probably about as good as we can expect to get. If that continues the MMC will continue.
-------
This month:
Choose any year and review as many movies from that year as you wish by the end of the month.
Pretty self explanatory. Just watch any movie that was released during a year. Simple enough.
-------
Next month’s options:
Choose Your Own Monster - Can be either a specific character (Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.) or just a certain type of monster (vampires, werewolves, zombies). Psycho killers are acceptable as well.
Classic Horror - Any horror movie made before 1960.
Any Horror Movie Released After You Were Born - The opposite of what we did last October.
The horror theme seemed to work last year, so why not try it again?

X-Men: First ClassLet me start with this: I wasn't an X-Men fan coming into this. I obviously knew of the characters, but I have never seen any of the movies prior to this and in fact I didn't watch the cartoon series in the early 90s as well. Ok, saying that...I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I thought it was very well paced, and the characters were very likeable and you actually cared about them...well most of them. They set up the Charles/Erik story very well, and the rift that they would both eventually have was very well done. My only gripes were some of the younger x-men were just there like the fish dude & angel. I saw no real reason to have them be in it, they added nothing to the story. Other than that, I had no real problems with the acting or anything else. It's my favorite comic book movie. Thumbs up!

I pick 2011.
The Greatest Movie Ever Sold I was looking forward to seeing it and I can say I was pleased with it. The advertising business just seemed fascinating to me and the lengths some companies go to advertise their products was surprising. What was especially surprising to me was the portion with the High School. Unless it's educational/healthy advertising (Got milk ads in Elementary school) I've never seen any sort of advertising in schools. I mean, I knew times were tough for public schools right now but I never imagined that they would resort to advertising to gain revenue.
The Hangover Part II I was expecting to be disappointed by this one but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the basic premise was practically identical to the first one but I still found it enjoyable the second time around. Nothing much to say about this other than I found it funny for the most part.
Bad Teacher Ugh, this was horrible. I was honestly thinking about not finishing watching this. The jokes in this are not funny in the slightest and I never cared for anything in this. Bad.

If you haven't figured it out yet I guess I should inform you all that I've officially given up on this. It lasted a whole year, which was longer than even I expected.
If anybody else cares enough to take over, be my guest.
