Joanna Champion is an absolute beast. Show was a ton of fun as well. And Bellator was...well, it was Bellator alright. Ken's single leg will haunt me in my sleep for years to come. Also pretty sure this is the first time somebody has ever posted on the MVZ from press row so...hi

Damn, looks like I missed a mauling. Bellator on the other hand. Kimbo vs Shamrock... oh god. What a joke. Ken coming out with Road Warrior Animal & his entire family. WTF?! Patricio Pitbull being saved by the bell in the first round, then coming out in the second & laying Weichel out was awesome. Can anyone tell me why Bobby Lashley shaves his eyebrows? And did I hear Coker correctly, did he say they're gonna put a boxing ring in the middle of the cage for the Glory fights on that Dynamite card? lol Hi back atcha, dd!

I liked the Bellator show just for the spectacle of it all. Shamrock vs Kimbo was never going to be a fight of the year but it was pretty fun to watch it all go down. I think Coker said they would have a cage and a ring in the arena, not that they would be mashed together. Lashley looked like he was about to pop. If they want to build Lashley up some more they should feed Kimbo to him. Also King Mo had a Young Bucks shirt on which makes him alright by me.

Joanna's bashing of JP was beastly, kudos to the champ. Kudos to Jessica for being a warrior too.

Jose Aldo gives me another reason why i want him to lose his title. He's a deteriorating fighter much like Conor said. It's confirmed that Aldo is injured with a fractured rib. No word yet what this means for the fight but if this gets canceled then fuck Aldo all together. I'm sick of him getting injured and pushing fights back every year.

Deteriorating fighter? Relax. Jose's been fighting twice a year since 2010. Acting like he's Cain now. If the fight is off, maybe this'll give Conor a chance to fight a top 5 guy like Mendes or Edgar.

If he pulls out, It would be the 4th time he's pulled out of a fight in the UFC out of his 7 fights, regardless of how long he's out for he's ALWAYS getting hurt and that's a fact.

It's either Edgar or Mendez. Anyone else and it would be too obvious that Dana's trying to protect him. And both Edgar and Mendez would probably wreck him.
I'm a fan of Conor and I really wanted to see him fight Aldo, but fighting Edgar or Mendez can't be good for him.

So what is the reason why everyone thinks Conor can't beat a wrestler? Just curious.

So what is the reason why everyone thinks Conor can't beat a wrestler? Just curious. Not saying he can't, but it's awfully suspicious that they haven't matched him up against one yet & he's leap frogging 2 wrestlers that are higher ranked than he is (granted, they've both had their shots at the title already).

"In light of recent reports regarding the status of UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, UFC has received official medical confirmation from several doctors that Aldo did not suffer a broken rib. Following a review of the scans, it has been determined that the champion suffered a bone bruise to his rib and cartilage injury during training. With this news, Aldo has expressed that he has every intention of facing Conor McGregor at UFC 189. While Aldo has indicated that he will compete in Las Vegas on July 11, UFC has confirmed a contingency plan. No.1 featherweight contender Chad Mendes will face McGregor for the interim UFC featherweight championship in the event Aldo cannot compete. UFC remains committed to delivering the featherweight and the welterweight championship fights at UFC 189 during UFC International Fight Week in Las Vegas."

Still not sure what to make of that. Don't want Aldo to fight hurt, but the fight falling apart would be awful. Really shitty situation for all parties involved, including McGregor. If he beats Aldo, he'll get less credit for it. If he loses, he'll get even more shit for it. And if Aldo should still drop out, he'd get trucked by Mendes.
Machida vs. Romero tomorrow is a great fight and should be fascinating. Really bummed that either one of them has to lose, but I have to pull for my guy Yoel at the end of the day. Rest of the card is complete dogshit.

Also, as confident as he is, it can't be good to have been preparing to fight one guy for 4 months, then suddenly he's not fighting that guy anymore. My best guess is they're announcing the switch right before the event. Keeping Aldo "available" for the fight is hype, that's what I'm thinking.
