LoL... Anderson/Leites II! Standing: Anderson kills him. On the ground: Anderson kills him. Hopefully, for the internet MMA diehards sake, Anderson comes in motivated so we can get this over as quickly as possible.
PS: Doesn't matter to me, I can watch "boring" Anderson all day long. Foot punches FTW!

Velasquez & Sotiropoulos looked amazing tonight! And a big "shit yeah" for Wand beating Bisping.

Pretty good show and a step up after the last two injury hit cards.
Onto Hardy vs. GSP! Did I read there are some Primetime specials being broadcast?

There absolutely no hype sorrounding the show, but dream is worth checking out. Not the best show, no real big names, but some decent to fun fights, featuring the knockout of the year!

Mir & Hardy had nothing for Carwin & GSP, but I gotta give Hardy props for his toughness... not many people could have survived that armbar & that nasty kimura. Lesnar/Carwin is gonna be epic.
Nate Diaz looked amazing at 170... can't wait to see if he can duplicate the success his brother has had fighting at higher weight classes.

Yeah, Carwin...Holy Shit. Also, Big Dan Miragliotta needs to be locked up in the octagon for 10 minutes with Frank Mir, what a disgustingly late stoppage.
GSP is quickly becoming Randy "People only tolerate his fights because it's him" Couture. Hardy gained way more from this loss than GSP did from the win.

That Carwin/Mir stoppage was obscenely late, but what else would you expect from the worst ref in the business. I can't say that I'm mad about it though... it's always fun to watch Mir get that mouth of his pounded in.
To be fair to GSP, he almost finished the fight twice & Hardy had no intention of tapping out. Hardy showed toughness, but nothing else. He really should've had to go thru Fitch or Alves before he got a shot at the title.
If UFC can't get Jake Shields, it's time for "Rush" to move up to 185, cause there are no other interesting fights for him at welterweight.

Yeah, I was wondering myself why the ref didn't stop Carwin from pancaking Mir into the mat. I understand some of the criticism that GSP is getting, but I honestly thought the fight was entertaining, sure it was completely one sided but it's not GSP fault that he completely outclasses every opponent. I've gained a ton of respect for Dan Hardy because he hung in there with the best and got out of some crazy submission attempts ( I think Pierre could of took his arm home with him, but decided not to) I agree with Vyper, Hardy should have gone through Alves or Fitch or even Koscheck before he got to Pierre. I think Pierre may be done in this division, I really think he should take that fight with Penn ( to shut him up) or go right after Silva and have the superfight right away because with injury and stuff we don't know how much longer either will be fighting.

"I think Pierre could of took his arm home with him, but decided not to" - Exactly, that's the problem Especially in the kimura, it looked like GSP could have easily broken the arm, but didn't do it for whatever reason. If they guy doesn't tap, break his arm and the ref stops it. Or choke him out. Just imagine he would have lost the fight in the fifth round because he wasn't mercy-less enough to end the fight. And yes, he DID try to finish the fight, but to me, it became really boring after the third round. Live crowd turned on him too apparently.
