Here's a documentary I just completed for a Production II class.
As it was made for a non-wrestling audience, i'm curious to see what fans will make of it. I directed and edited the film, and although we ran into one technical issue after another i'm pretty satisfied with the final product.

I thought that came out pretty great, Eric.
Nothing really to complain about. A clip of the aforementioned Jake the Snake moment may have helped, but I understand wanting to avoid any copyright issues.
I'd actually like to see something like this done on a larger scale with a number of indy guys. Maybe show a few who work solely as pro wrestlers (ie Hero, Cabana), and others who split this with their 9-to-5s. If you could ever do that, I think it would come out as something really enjoyable.

I liked it man! There were some really nice shots and transitions and good use of music. You stuck true to a typical documentary feel and told a good story with the time you had. It established his lifestyle and built upon it a little, although going into a bit more depth showing the troubles he has to overcome and perhaps depicting one specific incident would have been useful.

Big news.
My professors declared the film "best in class" (of this particular documentary assignment), and thus i'm eligible to submit it to Columbia's student film festival. I'm not participating at this point, but my film will be screened in front of organizers of the festival to decide whether or not it's worthy.
Unfortunately, I need to find new music and probably get rights to the images. In for quite the headache.
