I thought this would be interesting.
I actually got into editing after the Facebook page 'CM PUNK THE HERO' shared HRay's CM Punk tribute he had made for an MVZone competition, I went on MVZone and was viewing everyone's video and then started watching custom titantrons made by 'LeeLee' and 'TheAJUniverse'. After watching videos for around 2 weeks I wanted to make some videos so I typed in on Youtube 'How to make WWE Custom titantrons' and found a video, I watched it and saw him use 'ClipConverter.cc' to get clips and put them together on Windows Movie Maker, I went and attempted to do that and I wanted to add some good effects. I talked to a good friend 'SEM Extreme' about editing and what he uses for his videos and he told me about Sony Vegas, I went on youtube downloaded Sony Vegas and I liked it a lot, I found it fun getting media when I was going to make a WWE Freestyle with the song 'You Can't Stop Me' by Alan Gold I think (Can't Remember the artist but it was used for a Dolph Ziggler promo by WWE) then I remembered about MVZone and went to sign up and wanted to be in Vidmas, I posted and messaged around 10 members about joining it after the closing date without realising it was closed. I then found out about 1 week before the competition I had been put in a match with Ally, I then started to make my MVZone video and getting clips from full shows 'stupidly' but eventually I had finished it and wanted to make it look awesome with overlays. On the Vidmas viewing night I was just lurking and not talking being all shy, but when my video came on 'Durty530' asked how long I had been editing, I had been editing for about 3 weeks then on the feedback people started saying I am ahead of them when they had started and they said I have the skill to be good and improve and be 'one of the top guys' I had then made loads of test experiencing Sony Vegas and I think I have improved a lot, every one at MVZone has helped me out a lot and have got me into editing more and make me feel experienced (even no I was not) and now here I am.
