So in my video class we were assigned was to make a "montage". When our teacher as singed us this project I knew I had to take the parody route and use the montage song from team america. I edited (of course) the video, Directed it and there wasn't really any writing. We kinda just made shit along as we went so there wasn't any real script (which is what me and my friend did through all our videos). When I finished the video i thought it was funny but i didn't think anyone else would like it or get the reference. But when my teacher showed our video to our class they all were bursting out laughing and even my teacher laughed and liked our video! (I think it was the first one she ever liked) So that was a satisfying feeling. There are somethings i wish i could change like consistency issues (Especially towards the end of the video). But all in all im still really satisfied with the video.
So at the end of first semester in my video class, our final was to make a video about whatever we wanted but it had to contain the line of dialogue "Cold As Ice" and the main theme of the video was to center around that. Well of course me and my friend said fuck it and made a video not around that theme but did use that dialogue (that's why it seems so forced because it was). We had 3 days to think of the idea, write a "Script" (which like I said we didn't do for any of our videos so it didn't change here), shoot, then edit the whole thing and I'm pretty glad with the way it turned out. There was alot of jokes that I had to cut out because i didn't feel like it worked with the video (if you wanna see the version with the jokes I cut out you can check the link in the description of the video). There are some things i wish i could have changed like my other video like the editing and the audio edits but hey whatcha gonna do, it is what it is. Im proud of it and it was the last video we ever made in the class and I think we went out with a bang.
Neither are meant to taken seriously by any stretch of the imagination. But I hope you guys enjoyed them!
