Also good to note that Butler did a tremendous job on defense

Thunder/Spurs was fantastic!! Didn't expect such a great game to come so early in the season and believe me I ain't complaining! If these two meet in the playoffs, it's gonna be an unbelievable series.

What a game from both westbrook(48) and Durant(43) they had 91 points combined!Oladipo(21p13r10a) and Harris(30) played great as well. The rookie KAT had 28 points and 14 rebounds. And so far detroit are looking great.

I didn't get to watch the game since I don't have League Pass (I think there's a free weekend going?) but yeah, saw the shot Westbrook that sent the game into OT, which was crazy. Then saw the stat line for Durant and Russ and was like fuhhhhh.
To those who were questioning whether or not Durant was gonna be back to MVP form after being on the shelf for so long...yeah you don't need to wonder that anymore. I don't think it's too absurd to say that OKC has a real legitimate shot of not only repping the West in the finals but being favorites to win it all.

Steph Curry had 53 tonight against the Pelicans. 28 of those were 53 in the 3rd quarter alone.
IN ONE QUARTER.

So the Rockets fired head coach Kevin McKale today and I'm still trying to figure out why. 4-7 start and slow output from your team sure, but he's had two 50+ winning seasons in the last couple of years and had them in the western conference finals this past year. This is about as knee jerk as you can get.

yeah that's pretty questionable .. not sure about that one.
My issue is the last 5-10 years, owners across the majority of pro sports teams have become super impatient with coaches. Great guys have been fired many times. Mark Jackson, Tom Thibedeau, Monty Williams, and now McKale in Basketball. Football you see john fox, harbaugh, etc. The lists go on .. Not sure why owners dont understand that you cant be good always. Teams fluctuate and it doesnt always mean the coach should go. Owners need to know whats best for the team, not their own agendas .For that, a lot of teams have been hurting.
